Just to brighten the mood a little: What was your favourite goal this season scored by QPR players? Lets face it there aren't that many to choose from. Mine was Remy's opener against Wigan, shame the result wasn't equally wonderful!
Actually, our goals scored to our entries in goal of the month ratio would be pretty high I reckon. Remy v Wigan was pure class. Tarbs v West Ham is up there too.
Favourite swp against scum, best either remy agianst wigan/townsend v black cats or tarbs against wba/west ham.
Remys against Wigan, I'm not usually impressed too much by screamers as I've done them myself but the amount of power and reverse spin he got on a side foot was incredible. I've never seen a player do that before or since. Its my goal of the season in the PLbut he won't get the credit he deserves.
Just to be awkward, I'll throw Taarabt's second against Fulham into the mix. Great skills and renewed hope, at that point I thought that we'd be fine.
The number people that come on here having laugh at QPR's plight are jealous because none of thie players have scored the number of superb goals that the R's have, the best and surely the goal of the season is by Loic Remy versus Wigan. The R's will be back stronger and better prepared.
Remy's against Wigan, incrdible shot, and great counter from M'bia - it is a top top candidate for PL goal of the season, the goal of the season for me. We haven't scored many but there was a lot of real quality - Adel's against West Brom from Granero's pass is my 2nd best, also his goals against Fulham and West Ham, Granero's goal against West Brom, SWP's after the little lay off from Adel, Townsend and Jenas against Sunderland were all great.
Unusually... Adel V West Brom with that pass from Granero. How he finished that with the ball coming over his shoulder between to defenders was pure class. Still love watching that initial pass and strike. Convinced me we were gonna be alright this season....OH Dear !
Good thread. We have seen far too little in goals in relation to QPR this season, let alone great ones. But great goals we have seen. Scant consolation to the season we are cruelly witnessing, but consider these........ Taarabt v W.Ham Taarabt v W.Brom Granero v W.Brom Taarabt v Fulham SWP v Chelsea Remy v W.Ham Townsend v Sunderland Jenas v Sunderland Remy v Fulham Remy v Wigan That's quite a collection considering how few goals we have scored. 29 in total, and only 12 at home ( in the league. ) For me it has to be Remy's. Eighty odd minutes into a game playing with ten men for 60 minutes. Making an 80 yard run alongside M'bia after defending tiresly with such desire for such a long time. Latching onto a ball and side footing it with that technique and pace and placing it in the far corner. That's the goal of the season! In fact it's the best goal I've ever seen scored with my own eyes. Fantastic.
It's a good thread x 5 999's lol. Did you not see Sinclair's goal against Barnsley in the cup? I thought Remy's goal was good but I thought Sinclair's was simply world class.
