or then again we might not be. such are the joys and agonies of supporting a football club. my gut feeling is that by this time tomorrow we will be celebrating but I am certainly not starting to count any chickens.
Obviously I want Leicester to win - but a part of me wants a draw, because come on, we can get a draw at Barnsley... can't we?
Hoping for a draw or Watford win. If we can't beat Barnsley we don't deserve it and needing a win and getting it will make Saturday mental and unforgettable, it's for those sorts of days that make following a football club what it is. If we're already promoted its just another day and nowt more than a well attended friendly as far as we're concerned.
Agreed - I want this over and done with - b@llocks to those who want Watford to get a result tomorrow - that's just asking for it to go tits up on Saturday. Let's have a couple of games we can enjoy + party!
You never thought to check the prediction thread? I went for a 2-0 defeat. Watford will win, then we'll draw or lose against Cardiff and Leeds will get pummeled by the Hornet bastards on the final day. We'll end up third, lose in the play-offs and less than three weeks from now find ourselves planning trips to Bournemouth and Doncaster bleedin' Rovers
Yes we could, but you dont really want that risk do you? I mean, yea I would rather we earn it but saying that we already earned it if watford lose. It wasnt that loss that put us up it will have been all the points through the season that we picked up.
If I was you, I'd sooner Watford lose and go up cheering in a game I can watch on tv with beer. For me, I like the excitement, it would make the day on Saturday so much better if we achieved it there. If we don't then we don't. It's not even about doing it for ourselves as such, but just how good a day it could make Saturday for those of us going to oakwell. Also I live in Leicester and if we happen to drop enough points that Watford would have overtaken us if Leicester hasn't beaten them, I will never hear the end of it.
I hope Watford batter Pearsons troops 5-0. Then we have to go out and beat Barnsley. Pearson is a ****. I'm from Hull, I dont forgive and forget.
Won't do me. Leicester to win or draw, and then we beat Barnsley. I don't get why people want Watford to win, it's inviting nerves on the players AND the fans for that matter and if we lose... THEY'RE ONE POINT BEHIND US AND WE PLAY THE LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!!! Does anyone see the downside here?
**** it, it's fun, if we're gonna do it lets do it style. Promotion isn't the be all and end all, I'd gladly stick the whole season on red. At worst, we get to repeat all the fun again next year, not such a bad proposition eh?
