Fellow Fans, I have decided to leave the site and not comment due to my disgust with the club. Last season I clocked up well over 2500 miles to watch my beloved team. I have had a season ticket since the 95-96 season. Bye bye
Im ****ing disgusted... for me to get to qpr its a 280 miles round trip. Costing me ã80 in fuel. These ****ing owners have put us through **** and this is the final kick in the teeth for me
Have to agree on some fronts that this a real kick in the nuts. The pricing structure is unreasinable at best and the "average Joe" fan with a family will struggle to justify this. I was planning on buying but now im not so sure
Somehow I doubt that there will be a shortage of people buying the tickets. I'm aware that there will be people priced out of the market, but seeing as it's Premiership football, most will stick with it, and there will no doubt be enough new buyers that will take up the balance. I do have to ask a couple of questions, though: 1) Did anyone really expect the prices to stay at Championship levels? They are reasonable by London Premiership levels, even though the hike is considerable. 2) Quitting this board as well, Aaron? Please let me know what you think that will achieve? All that will happen is that you and the rest of us will moiss out on banter and discussion. It won't make a blind bit of difference to the club. Surely, better to stay here and complain about the owners than go off and sulk..... And I do empathise. I'm not a season ticket holder, but I also couldn't pay the prices they are asking, irrespective of my availability for games. I just can't see that leaving a fan's message board in disgust will make any difference.
Mate - that would be a shame, i think your the only super hoop within a 100 miles of me and think of the banter you will missing when we beat wolves... Regards the prices - are you really surprised? It was always going to be the case, genuine fans always get ****ed when a club gets to the prem, the reality is you will soon been replaced by prawn sandwich eaters and glory hunters with deaper pockets and better geography. Don't let the bastards get you down, there are plenty of away matches that are now closer to hand, i admire the fact that you have managed to keep getting down there for so long, maybe its time too hang up your season ticket, pocket the cash and enjoy from a far. At least we'll be on Sky and match of the day next year! At least have a sleep on it...
Yes, I can't see Adel being able to do a Phantom or a Jean Valjean so I guess the theatre must be better value...
I'm sorry I just can't see what all the fuss is about! being a season ticket holder for twenty odd years I fully expected a massive hike in prices! Every home game next season will be a sell out, I don't mind paying those prices for the atmosphere and watching all the top-class players at HQ, not to mention The likes of Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Fulham, Liverpool, Man City, the list goes on! better than Coventry, Donny, Barnsley and Brighton and co I know It's a large increase, but guys we're PREMIERSHIP STATUS NOW!!!!!
Defo mate, we can always find a boozer to watch the game either over by you or me, my local has some dodgy alqaeda TV and can pick up most games providing the fooking wolves aren't on. By the way - how was the boxing? I couldn't bring myself to part with ã15 for box office so i still haven't seen it yet, hopefully i'll catch it on ringside later this week.
loyal fans always get shafted. I only hope, that the price increase will mean that (1) There will be leg room with each seat!! (2) The increase will end up being used for a new ground (3) player quality will improve (not knocking current squad) (4) The owners ACTUALLY know what they are doing with this massive increase when the majority of working class that support the R's are on low / average salaries (5) IF we get relegated, will the prices drop by the percentage they are increased (6) There is no need to give up not606. where else can you let off any steam! And share useful (and not so useful) information
SOUNDS GOOD TO ME MATE boxing was top draw, had a good chat with Mackie, Orr, Route and hall Sat three rows from front directly behind the ring girls.....GREAT NIGHT
1 More leg room - your havin a larf 2 new ground - see above 3 Player Quality - we may get slightly better players 4 The Owners - some of them do but they have to deal with the poison dwarf 5 Relegation - we'll be ok 6 606 - stay or go its up to you
That sounds ****ing brilliant to me, watching boxing with the QPR first team and a good view of the ring girls, It actually sounds like a dream i once had... Did Routledge have anything to say about his transfer???
