... they were indeed - needed to win about 8-0 to stay up ... 7,000 leicester in what is now their home end ... I was actually in the side bit - managed to get about 20 tickets from a Watford lad I worked with because I couldn't get any from the City - my cousins came up from Leicester on a mini-bus - and we met up in St Albans - there were loads of Leicester fans drinking in St Albans that day - quite a home-from-home - when we scored thaey all went up - only to find that that there were considerable numbers of Leicester all in that same side bit - we got ejected onto the pitch surround by the local constabulary and taken down the side of the pitch (amidst a hail of coins and gob) and put in the Leicester end ... great memories ..
That was also the day that Filbert Fox became a legend in his own lifetime. A cowardly hornet pushed him in the back. Our beloved fox chased him up their end and cannoned him into the female hornet and they noth ended up sniffing pollen from the daisies. Nearly got as big a cheer as Muzzys goal.
I predict the following.... We will beat Watford and we will beat Forest. But we still won't have enough points! It's typical Leicester!!
If we win both games, I'm pretty sure that would be enough for us. I really don't see Bolton winning at Cardiff. A point at best for them.
Hope you are right - but I remember West Ham (with Carlos Tevez) going to the already champions Man United on the last day of the season needing a win to escape relegation ... guess what ... (that's the problem when one team knows that the job is already done) ... but Blackpool will be a very tricky game for the Trotters irrespective of the game against the Purple Armadillos (or whatever they are calling themselves this week )
...and Bradford went to Liverpool on the last day of the Prem season and won, sending Wimbledon down to the shock of everyone. It's certainly not a given, but I think Miami's right, Cardiff will get something out of the game.
.. due to the dates glynak - my old man got us season tickets for the 1969/70 season when I was 10! - Gilles had just left and O'Farrell had taken over ... the old man was very complimentary about MG and I had watched the Cup Final against Man City .. but that was all ....
... seen some 'glass half-full' types, but it looks like somebody has actually pissed in your pint! ... mind you, might improve some american beers !
haha come on Fosse, you know me better than that from my posts onhere. my glass is always half full!!! I belive remember! lol. It was just tongue in cheek, course I dont think we will lose 0-3. Cmon boys lets beat these yellow hornets!
Right then lads. I really don't care if we play ****. I really don't care if it's the worst game of football I have ever seen. I really don't care if the ref gives us nothing all night. JUST WIN THE BLOODY GAME!!!!!!! Come on, it's now or never..........well there's always next season
