I thought Austrians were Germans with no sense of humour - does that make Bavarians Germans with no brains and no sense of humour?

Morning all, thanks for the coffee ak. A fleeting visit I'm afraid, the better weather has meant my workload has jumped 10 fold. So unlikely I'll be posting much for the next few months :(. Will drop in from time to time but mostly to read up on what's happening rather than posting. Bring on the 3 points tomorrow, COYH!!!

Sorry for no breakfast as we had big problems at work, even though the manager has been asking for some stuff for longer than I worked there, and as the higher managers said this was all my fault I was removed. I am now at home looking for a new job. Also I do not think the job in India and England will happen as the desicion should be made very quickly.

The good news is I get two weeks money for not attending and what I have earned this week.

    Sorry to hear that Ak

I hope it turns out to be a blessing in disguise - from your recent posts they seem to have been a rather nasty incompetent bunch who put upon you too much anyway.

Good luck in your search for your next job

Blooming heck ak. That sounds a bit thick.

Hope that something turns up quickly for you, and upper manager gets similar treatment from upper, upper manager.

Can they do that legally in Iceland Ak? Over here there would be tribunals etc unless they offered you a really good severance package.

No job kl.09:00, new job kl.11:45!

Leon, to lose your job how I work is legal everywhere. I think in England you say contract labor. I said to my contact I could start after lunch but the manager is not free to give me my work until tomorow. So I will go to the bookstore.

And what is really the best is I get higher money.

Last night was one of my friend's leaving drinks and he paid for the early beers. As one of my former managers was with us he said it could be our Christmas party which we did not have, so the company paid for all the food and more beers. So haha to me!!
