    Hospital food blog alert!

Today so far, bran flakes for breakfast. They offer bread and butter but not toast, very odd.

Already had dinner, it was lasagne and veg and it was at 11.45 am for ****s sake. Consequently, I am starving. Might have to nip down to the canteen to procure a bacon butty.

Not sure what the **** to have for dinner tonight.

fancy a chicken and bacon salad with a honey and mustard dressing. Also have the urge for a glass a sauvignon blanc...

I'm not yet, no. But, as stated previously, once this runs into the weekend I very much will be!!

TT is the best ale money can buy on draught. Superb.

I have had Bathams, I used to drink that when I was working in Wolverhampton a few years back.

For some reason I rarely buy TT in a bottle but if I see it on draught it's always brilliant. I'm sure there are equally good ones out there but it is consistently great so sticks in the mind. Travels well as I've had it down here in a couple of locals and it's still been as good as oop north.

    Any good?

Last night I had steak, procured from a local farm shop. Was a stunning piece of meat!! Did balsamic roast potatoes and purple sprouting oh and a large flat mushroom.

Tonight we are going up china town in brum, then on to the old vic. I'm not drinking though.

In the weirdest Chinese ever.. Looked posh an upmarket. It's basically a posh expensive eat as much as you can place.. The food is immense.. The issue is the brummies, they're really rude. Constantly bumping into you never apologise and have zero manners. There is also some lesbian looking woman with leopard print hair in a wedding dress having her reception here. Weird.

Final day of holiday today, so went a bit overboard on the food front. Meat feast sandwich with nachos for lunch followed by breast of pheasant with black pudding and lamb burger with cheese for dinner. Gotta make the most of the all inclusive. Feel like I've eaten a couple of bricks right now!
