Great news... and the plans look very exciting... not sure of anyone has linked to the pdf with the illustrations, so here it is just in case:

Maybe now we can look forward to bringing through (and keeping) more of our own home grown talent to add to the Harrimans, Andrades and Sterlings... how good would it be to see team packed with home-grown, top-class Premier league stars? Just been looking at this... a fantastic achievement by Crewe:

We are all rather dazed and punch drunk from the drubbings this last couple of years. As a result, there is less excitement than there might otherwise have been re Warren Farm.

As I have reflected on this development over night, I am increasingly excited about what this means for our club. It is actually a massive statement of intent. The fact that it precedes the stadium is also a good sign that they want to learn form mistakes and do things in the correct order.

OK, so we are going down. It is time to believe that in a measured and realisitic way, we do hope to be back with a better base to the club and more clearly thought out plans for the future.

    COYRssss!!!!!

Stirling didn't leave because he fancied the training facilities in West Derby but because Liverpool were an established Premiership club where he could build a long term future at the top level. If we truly have ambition to do an Arsenal and to build up from youth then we need to a) be in that league b) have a stadium that will allow us to grow otherwise the training facilities count for little.

Yeah being relegated takes some of the shine off of news like the training centre, but let's just forget about the football for a second. 10 years ago we were passing around the collection buckets to pay for players wages, we are now developing the best training facilities in the country and are on the cusp of announcing a new 40k stadium, not bad from a club nearly out of existence 6 years ago.

But at least now, we can build for the future properly and not be forced in to silly mistakes in order to play catch up. We'll be back again soon and far stronger than this time around.

I see it as the other way round, this puts a silver lining on the worst season of my lifetime. The ground will be great news too.

This is fantastic news for the club, and in the long run could prove to be a more significant milestone then our impending relegation.

Well done to the board. <ok>

Spot On. This is very important news for the club, a major milestone that will hopefully see us back better and stronger (and hopefully with the overpaid wasters who ahve let the club and fans down so badly)

Sorry, that was meant to say "without" the overpaid wasters
