Suarez got a 10 match ban: http://www.thefa.com/News/governanc...e-liverpool-chelsea-ivanovic-ten-matches.aspx
****ing travesty. I know suarez can be a **** and he deserved a hefty ban for biting Ivanovic, but seriously ? How the **** did Terry get away with such lenient treatment
Dortmund 1-1 Real Madrid (HT) Dortmund the better team, got an early goal. Looked like it was going to be a thrashing like the Bayern game. Madrid came back into it, but Dortmund still looked more dangerous. Dortmund should have had a penalty, then Hummels blundered 40 seconds later and gifted Ronaldo a goal. Perhaps people will stop over-rating Hummels now. Ref seems a bit biased towards Madrid.
Not going to happen. A fair number of Arsenal fans overrate players from rival teams without watching them play.
lewandowski is a class striker. one of the best in the world atm. would love him at arsenal, but i don't see it happening
Some under-rate them without seeing them as well, like for Wanyama He reminds of Shearer more than anyone. This looked like being a thrashing after 20 minutes, and 4-1 isn't a surprise.

You've got to feel sorry for Dortmund. They have the biggest stadium in the land, which they regularly sell out; they've won the league twice in the last three years; they've got one of the best and most exciting young coaches in world football; they're in the UCL semis, with a huge chance of making the final; and yet, year after year, they have to sell their best players because clubs that can pay more come knocking. I wonder if they'll be able to cope as well next season without Goetze and Lewandowski (providing the rumours are true)?
And that's why it must be even more painful for those Dortmund fans, as Treat pointed out. They showed a lot of restraint with their reaction to Goetze last night.
So, the Germans have well and truly battered the Spanish in the CL. Hopefully their national team step up and dethrone Spain in 2014. Their success has got very tedious, especially when you consider how boring they were in the last two major tournaments.
When the cheapest season ticket at Arsenal costs 9 times the cheapest at Dortmund, you can understand why other clubs can afford to pay players more. If they want to keep their best players Dortmund are going to have to strike a balance between being able to offer competitive salaries, and not out-pricing their loyal support.
Neither of the Spanish teams have great defenders and this year they've been found out. There's only so many times you can rely on Messi outscoring the opposition. Don't forget that if Bendtner was even half decent we would have knocked Barca out a few years back and that was when they were at their best
