None of which alters the fact the atmosphere is better than ours because we have too many boring little tits sat in silence demanding to be entertained.I wish we could have just a part of the atmosphere they had at Bayern last night and Dortmund tonight.
My post was in reply to the poster who said there is no trouble. Please read carefully and reply accordingly. Did they just play Go West by Pet Shop Boys after the goal?? Aggie would like that, really get him up for it!!!
Atmosphere anywhere outside England is better. But they also have goal music which is excruciatingly embarrassing, specially for a club of dortmunds size. Lewandowski 4-1 Ronaldo
I can't believe what I'm seeing. Dortmund 4-1 Madrid. I'm so happy. At least £120 is winging it's way to me.... Lewandowski is fantastic. Him and Falcao are by far the best out-and-out strikers in the world.
You seem to be maybe quite young or naive but St Pauli is famous worldwide because of their liberal attitudes towards a lot of things and have loads of fans everywhere, even Football Focus runs features on them every now and then. They are still crap though!
Good news, hope they beat Bayern in the final. I love Lewandowski and Dortmund in FIFA too, hours of fun to be had playing seasons mode with them
Germany 8-1 Spain............tells it's own story really...all together now "you can stick your tippy tappy up yer arse, you can stick yer tippy tappy up yer arse, you can stick yer tippy tappy, stick yer tippy tappy, stick yrt tippy tappy up yer arse"
I'm glad the era of the tiki-taka or whatever the hell its called is drawing to an end too, great technical stuff but it really is boring as hell to watch and probably even turns casual fans off football.
There was a thread a couple of weeks back laughing at Palace for doing everything that the German clubs do (atmosphere-wise), Palace are just a bit more reserved and have less numbers. If Leeds started any of the initiatives that Dortmund/Bayern have done for atmosphere (apart from standing), then there would be many posts on here mocking them.
I wouldn't want goal music, or the bloke with the microphone shouting the goalscorer's first name so that the fans shout his surname back. It's really tacky. Having him do that "good afternoon..... stand" is bad enough.
Was going to say the whole guy with the loudhailer thing they have over there is actually quite annoying
I actually think the loudspeaker thing is good for the atmosphere, it may be tacky but its effective at making a lot of noise.. Wereas we score an its.. Goal scored by number so and so and no more noise apart from a bit of singing
a few blokes on a metal stand, with there shirts off, pumping there fists and barking orders and songs into a megaphone in the English game?? oh god no way would it work, you English are so reserved and would just mock the guys for trying to create an atmosphere sorry but stick to arms folded and moaning, its how you are known around Europe now, and your football culture will never change, Europe used to look upto the English atmosphere in the 60's 70's..but now its ruined, by red tape and PC correctness...
Please leave this board. I feel my IQ drop with every single one of your posts... You seem to have the intellectual ability of a dog's turd which has been stood in, smeered over various parts of the community and then wiped off against a wall.
To be honest, if you broke a dog plop down, I wouldn't be surprised if it had a more diverse and complex chemical composition than rolling thunders brain.
I do watch the Bundesliga highlights every monday night on ITV4, there's some brilliant football, I'm really impressed by most sides and the crowds! I'd say its on top at the moment and England lags behind German football and Spanish sadly.
Despite our teams are having a slight blip in Europe, after being dominant for a while, and the national team being utter ****e, i still think England fans are the best in the world, both domestically and on the international stage. We might not be allowed to stand and get pissed in the ground. We also have the unfortunate problem of being constantly scrutinised by complete tossers in high viz jackets and the old bill just for showing up, and not forgetting we get ripped off for ticket money at every level. But, does this stop us? No. Domestically, you don't get 27K plus at a second division match in Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Germany or anywhere else. Internationally, England out sell most home nations at most tournaments. You see St George's flags with place names from all over at every ground we go to. We have sold 3K tickets for a friendly in Rio de Janeiro ffs. That's class. Sod goal music and and all that orchestrated celebration malarkey. European clubs can keep all that.
