Apr 21, 2010 Poland striker Roberto Lewandowski has admitted that he would like to join Blackburn Rovers if his club can agree a fee with Sam Allardyce’s side. The 21-year-old, who plays for Polish outfit Lech Poznan, is reportedly a £5million target for Rovers. The Polish international has also been linked with moves to Borussia Dortmund and Genoa in recent weeks. Lewandowski was due to watch Saturday’s 3-2 loss at home to Everton at Ewood Park, but could not make the journey due to the travel disruption caused by the volcanic ash from Iceland. Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph via his agent, Lewandowski said: "Everything will become clear soon, but the clubs have to talk. "A lot depends on Lech as they have to agree a deal with one of the potential new clubs. "Each of the clubs are attractive for me. I don't think there is a big difference if I end up playing for either one of these clubs. "I don't know if it is a big fee. I don't decide that. Of course there is still a chance that I could stay at Lech Poznan. "Nothing is certain."
that must be a comfort to them (shameless like a goodwillie by all accounts) a club in total turmoil blackburn, pleasing to see
It gets even worse for Blackburn, ive just found this:- Blackburn missed out on another of the world's great players in 1995 - Zinedine Zidane. Assistant manager Ray Harford took a shine to the Frenchman but chairman Jack Walker uttered the now infamous words 'Why do you want to sign Zidane when we have Tim Sherwood?'
We could have got Ibrahimovic instead of Flo. (or as well as or maybe neither not sure if it was the same year but it would have been close) Man U got Folan who couldnt hit a barn door until he left them it happens to all of us im afraid.
