There is a small number of extra tickets available, I have just got 2 over the phone about 10 minutes ago....good luck!
The only tickets left are restricted view and there aren't many left, presumably they're behind the pillars near the back of the stand... please log in to view this image
Well apparently I'm on seat number 3 on my row lol; so I'll be hardly even able to see the bloody goal! Good job Aaron McLean's not there, his shot will end up in my hands in the warm up as Im pretty high too
Twitter has been rampant about it today. Whatever the amount and wherever they are for its going to be a mega day regardless. IF Lesta do the business on friday night I can see City taking Barnsley to the cleaners and finishing off our away fixtures in style.
I would suggest that we would go out and play relaxed free flowing football. Barnsley are 2nd from bottom for a reason. They should not be able to live with us IF we play anything like.
If Leicester win then we should play a "weakened" team full of any players Bruce isn't 100% about yet. If we're rooted in 2nd place then it's those players that are more likely to put in a performance, either to try and get a new deal here or to attract someone else in, and there'll be scouts looking at the Barnsley team to see if there's anyone worth poaching if they go down so there's the opportunity to do it. It'll give the scouts the ability to compare back to back the surplus players available from a promoted club and and the best players available from a relegated club so it's ideal for those players.
Playing the likes of Rosenoir - Dawson - Cairney - Fathi as examples hardly makes us weaker. They would all walk into many championship clubs. Rosenoir especially has been very unlucky not to play more games imo.
Well this is bollocks. What message does that send out to the players that have earnt the club promotion? Should be taking each and every game seriously, WITH YOUR BEST XI. Should be trying to widen the gap to as far as we can no matter what to assert our place in 2nd.
especially as Elmo has looked a shadow of his early season self and Rosenior has done really well when he's come on.
It sends the message that when one job is completed you immediately start preparing for the next. The second promotion is guaranteed everything should become about maximising our preparations for next season. If that means putting players in the shop window to attract suitors to get them off the wage bill, or avoiding key players getting serious injuries (Ben Burgess vs Huddersfield for example) then that's what we should do. You'll also not that I had weakened in ", I was saying that our strongest XI if we're already promoted is likely to be what many would see as a weakened team, for the very reason that the regular players have nothing to play for, but the fringe players, like the Barnsley players have their future careers to play for.
If the result goes our way Friday I'd expect a few beers and bottles of champagne to be opened ... Unprofessional maybe, but who would begrudge them or give a **** really
Sod going easy on Barnsley, i want City to go for the kill, even if we are already up. I still expect them to try. None of this "we're on the beach/ our holidays" cobblers. 5.5k won't want to see a reserve team.
I'm in Row H, seat 1. Hopefully that's a decent seat. Dunno the block though. As for the team, if we are promoted already, I'd like to see a pretty strong team, maybe play Fathi, Rosie and Cairney. Maybe save Daws for the last game so he can get a farewell from the home fans.
You never quite know until you get there, when we got to Ipswich the other week our seats although consecutively numbered were actually either side of the entrance tunnel into the stand. It wasn't a sell out so the stewards directed us to other seats so we could be together (missed an opportunity there like LOL), we got the tickets as soon as they were on sale so it just goes to show that you can never tell where you might be at an away ground!
