Fergie in his pre-match interview said they're giving Fletcher every opportunity to play against Barca.

Which begs the question, will he replace either Carrick or Giggs, or will we go 443 and leave one of Rooney or Hernandez on the bench?

I also feel Ando should be in contention but at the moment for some reason isnt getting a look in ahead of a midfield pairing of Carrick-Giggs. His form since the turn of the year has been terrific.

I think it would be risky to start him, he is not going to be fit enough for a game where your teams work rate is going to be key.

I think well play 4-5-1/4-3-3 With JS Park, Anderson and Fletcher in the middle to press and harrass their midfield. Hernandez on the bench to bring on later in the game and press a tiring defence. Or we could leave Nani on the beench with Park on the left to help with defence on the wings and play Scholes or Carrick in the middle also. Again bring Nani on to run at defences later on.

Darren Fletcher is facing Champions League final heartbreak for a third time.Fletcher, who was an unused sub when Manchester United lifted the European Cup in 2008 and was suspended for the 2009 final defeat to Barcelona, is set to miss out on Saturday's Wembley showdown with Barca.

Sir Alex Ferguson was keen to give the midfielder, who was sidelined for two months until recently with a mystery virus, every chance of proving his fitness ahead of the encounter.

But it now seems Fletcher, along with others including Wes Brown, Michael Owen and Darron Gibson, is going to be one of the unlucky ones not to make United's 18-man matchday squad.

Feltcher is a great player. He certainly adds something to the mix.
