Cesar has apologised on the official site.
He has obviously been told to do that and it reads that way too....I went as my mate David Luiz.... He has been humiliated, I assume that is what everybody wants....

He won't play for us again... (which he may not have anyway)

I am just reading Fever pitch again (Nick Hornby)..a great read about being a football fan, I "deeply understand" everything he writes. I have just come to the bit where he meets McNab and Hornby says "the team means so much more to me (us...the fans) than it can ever do to them (excepting the few boyhood fans who play for their own club).

I think we forget that....to most of us here...QPR are one of the most important things in our lives (outside the real stuff.....of families etc, I mean, it certainly is one of the most important things in the "fluffy" side of my life)

    It is not for Cesar

Probably not, but it's not really the same. A more relevant question would be, would he give a **** if giggs/scholes were pictured in an Oldham kit.

This is the true face of a mercenary. We signed many so it was only a matter of time that one showed their true colours.
Should be sacked immediately with no further pay.
Surely our club has some rights.

To me, ( in the ragards to Cesar's effects ) it is not about where we would be, or where we are now ............... the guy did a something that is unforgivable.
Bill Shankly used words of a similar effect ............ "Football is not about life or death, it is much more serious than that"

Personally, I'm a pretty easy going guy, it takes a lot to wind me up but what Cesar did is dead wrong .................. there is no coming back.

    Mate,
If you were too actually take that quote seriously..you'd realise what a crock of ****e it really is...!

We had a deep emotional discussion a week or so back on a similar subject, we had a guy getting stabbed at Everton & I believe we all agreed that life is far more precious..
A stupid attention seeking statement from a great manager...that's all...Fergie does it all the time as did Mourinihnio...-(spelling!)

    NEXT!!

i'm certain that you don't believe it, but I may be wrong?!

A few of you lot need to get over yourselves, yapping on about your mercenaries and them not caring for your club.

I don't recall their mercenary nature or lack of caring for the club being a problem at the start of the season at all.

Concerns were voiced by a small minority mate but they were drowned out by the usual pre-season hysterics we get on here with people totally losing all sense and reason.

. Only a very small minority about only a couple of the signings mate. the striker and CB situation was mentioned, but most were happy to see new signings and a bit of money coming into the club.
Yeah we had the hysterical dreamers (as we still do); but every club needs them. I was happy to see new players come in after the sh**e previous season, just turns out that they were just as bad (worse in fact)

Many of them will go to other clubs and be good players, just never had a proper leader, plan, target or coach with a f-ing idea whilst here!

How would we know that if weve never seen them play for the club?

We'd all be chuckling about it if QPR were safely mid table and Cesar himself was having a fine season. The fact is that for every spectacular save he has pulled off there has been 3 or 4 mistakes, some of which has cost us games. That's disregarding the general lack of confidence that comes from having a keeper that never claims a cross or corner and punches out in the most ludicrous situations. After the first couple of months I doubt he would have got a game in most other PL clubs but given the farcical situation in which he joined us and the fact that the accident prone Mr Green is the alternative he has been given way more slack than he deserves.

Being seen wearing the scum shirt gives us the opportunity to unfairly focus our frustration on just one of the journeymen who have wrecked our season but please let's not pretend that Cesar is not part of the problem.

Sometimes I read posts on forums and I start to doubt whether I am actually worthy enough to consider myself a real fan.

Here is another example of me now doubting my credentials as a REAL fan because, whereas some people want Cesar to be publicly hung drawn and quartered for having the audacity to dress up in his mate's team's kit (I KNOW IT WAS A CHELSEA KIT) whilst attending a birthday party whilst off duty and going about his private life, but I for one cannot see what he has done wrong. So clearly I must not be a loyal enough supporter because I can find no vitriolic comments to throw at him.

Whether or not a current QPR player is a life long supporter of our club is of absolutely no concern to me, just as long as he gives 100% effort to the club and its fans whilst on the pitch. If a professional footballer is attending a private birthday party with his partner and children and they all decide to wear a Chelsea kit and silly wig as a mick take of a friend, then that is no one else's business IMHO.

I also think the club made a huge mistake by pandering to the outcry and wrong to issue a pre-written statement from Cesar (probably written by Ian Taylor anyway). I would have fully understood if he had said " I was at a private party with my family and what I do or wear when I am off duty is of no one else's business, do get over yourselves.

Just because there is a hatefest currently amongst the online fan base for 90% of the underperforming first team squad, they use this as any excuse to add fuel to the fire.

I think you're mistaking being a real fan of the Club and being a real fan of the players. Two totally different concepts and I've noticed a number of people making that same mistake on here. Personally I couldn't care less how many Chelsea shirts Cesar wears but in my opinion, I would question the worthiness of a fan if they didn't slate and express anger at this current crop of fraudsters that are helping destroy our Club and rub the fans noses in it at the same time.

Cesar's performances at the crunch time of the season were a farce, as were almost the entire team's efforts. Forget about a silly fancy-dress party, that's just stupid, childish sh*t. But where's the outcry for how our 100K per week, "World class" keeper helped get us relegated?

Can't wait to see the back of a load of these chancers.

Fancy dress as the chelsea man himself. Why else would they wear them silly wigs... I agree its silly but its not like hes bringing the club into disrepute or something. Just having a laugh at the expense of a fellow countryman.

Cesar's performances have ranged from the sublime to the ****est of the ****e but that's what happens in football, I can't say I've seen a lack of effort on his part and therefore refute this fraudster nonsense. As for fan worthiness I'd certainly question one with a long, long history of deliberatley winding up his fellow supporters. A different outlook or opinion does not make anyone more worthy or less worthy than the next guy (or gal).
