    Garcia always gave 100%

    Remember some cracking goals:

A volley at home to Norwich to seal a win
    Long range rocket v Burnley
and of course his solo goal v Watford

Not forgetting his perfectly (ahem) placed header at Blackburn.

Good player, albeit not really PL standard, but served us well and deserves respect.

    I always liked him.

He did a good job in several positions for us.

I can't remember that volley against Norwich, can anyone jog my memory?

Well done to him. Always thought he had the club at heart and did his best and scored one of my fave goals against Burnley.

If we get to the Prem, I wonder which of our current players will be the one that some of our esteemed fans will boo on and cheer off when substituted?

It was the same game where Dion Dublin scored for Norwich with a shot from outside the area to equalise.

Few minutes later, Windass went on a bit of run on the left, crossed and Garcia finished with a volley from about 8 yds.

    We won 2-1

That goal vs Watford will always be the goal that I'll remember him by.

The ones against West Brom and Burnleh were crackers as well.

My best memory of Garcia in a weird way is that he got injured around April time at the end of the promotion season - dislocated his shoulder or something and missed a few weeks which led to us losing form completely. He was the only real wide man in that team. Hughes tended to play on the left and he was hardly a winger. We tried 4-3-3 a few times as we had 3 in form strikers in Deano, Campbell and Folan but it didn't work at all and our form was poor for the last month. Garcia came back for the first leg of the playoffs at Watford and the team suddenly had its balance again.

He was one of my favourite players in a City shirt, great quality player.

It's good he's been able to make an impact in his home Country, he served the Tigers well.
