Maybe they should stop worrying about blowing the diffuser at 100% when off throttle and introduce launch control at that corner.

Apparently, according to Pirelli, a 2 stop strategy should be possible in Monaco, despite the super-soft tyre being used. We'll see! Theres an interesting explanation to the theory behind it on Autosport.

Nah, he reckons he can pull off a single stop. Get it out of the way on the first lap, and make use of the empty track to make up time, whilst eeking out his tyres as long as possible.

He pulled off a one stop last year, granted it was not entirely successful.

Autosport reports that the supersoft tyres, being used for the first time in Monaco, are an unknown quantity.

Supersoft rather suggest excellent grip for very few laps - then bits flying off into the dirty areas. Attempts at overtaking off line will be fun.

Charlie Whiting has said the kerbs in 2 chicanes (after tunnel exit and at the end of the swimming pool complex) are going to be higher this year, in an attempt to reduce the amount of them you can use and force the drivers around the chicane, rather than over it. However, I guess this means if you do go off line, the kerbs will be less forgiving. Could we see more accidents there this year?

Not only that DHC the laps will be considerably slower if they are higher. Note - this is help for the prediction league WHICH CLOSES AT 10PM TONIGHT. Maybe 1 15s? Cant see them being faster than last year.

As I have said on 606, Alonso is the only driver to win Monaco 2 times in a row, so he is very good here. If I remember correctly (correct me if im wrong) Vettel has never out qualified his team mate here. Maybe in '09?
And the Renault has always in the last few years been better here than most other circuits in the season.

Mclaren, won 3 times in last few years so they arent a bad bet either. (Most successful team here?) And i'm going to make an ambitious bet saying that Mercedes will be alot better here than thdy should be.

Seeing how many predictions I got wrong yesterday, I have a very good chance of being wrong in everything.

Monaco favored the Renault engines last year so I expect to see either Heidfeld or Petrov up there with the McLarens.

Well, I chose number 9 in Genji's game and was awarded with Vettel; a driver I do not expect to win at Monaco!

At this stage my tip for victory is Hamilton, and Webber may have the edge over his team-mate too.

Yes, as the current implementation of DRS exists, it's the only logical place for this circuit. One wonders how much part the new tarmac at the inside (and at the end of the braking zone) for turn 1 will play.
