This is strictly off-topic, but I offer some insider info on the next Chelsea manager - at 8/1 get your money now on Harry Redknapp. Good source...

Hmmm.... No offence, but i've the phrase 'good source' so many times and the so called 'good source' has been wrong. However, i'll believe this 'good source'. It's got to be worth a couple of quid. :emoticon-0100-smile

Give us a bit more about the source so that I can be a bit more confidant.

I really don't see it. Mourinho, Van Gaal, Van Basten, Hiddink and Villas Boas are all ahead of Redknap on many levels to get the job...

I'm going to throw a name into the hat...

    Rafa.

Now, before I get shot down for being an idiot, let me give some reasons.

He has won the Champions League which we all know Roman wants and he knows how to get the best out of Torres.

I can't see it happening but you never know in football...

A while ago I also thought so but not now. Coincidentally today his agent has denied a rumour about Rafa taking over from Hiddink in Turkey.

Chelsea won't have him, although Rafa would go I think.

So good Kop, spill the beans!

I'm not bullshitting you - it is somebody inside the Chelsea camp, who doesn't normally hand these things out like sweets. Don't get me wrong, with Abramovich involved, anything could still happen. To give you some kind of perspective, though, he told me about the Ray Wilkins episode about an hour before the story broke - and the what Wilkins had said that apparently lost him his job (which was pathetic, incidentally.) Just one point on Harry taking the England job - I thought I'd heard that this is a non-starter because of issues involving HM Inspector of Taxes, that are due to come out in the open over the summer. Maybe nobody's told Roman about this, or maybe he doesn't think tax evasion is a crime where he comes from....? GKRK.

So the story goes: RA was sharing his worldly wisdom with Ancelotti and Wilkins about what was wrong with Chelsea's playing style. Wilkins was heard to mutter under his breath 'yep, the style that won us the League and Cup double only 6 months ago...'; apparently, Abramovich doesn't do cheeky cockney irony. GKRK.

Fair enough! RA is a complete moron and he'll end up having no managers interested in managing Chelsea and then he'll run off and Chelski will be back where they belong... Mid Table battling for Europa League!

Are people putting money on then? How much are people laying down?
