Does anyone remember The Changeling with George C Scott? That film is terrifying in a subtle sort of way. The house he moves into is haunted by a child, and he keeps hearing noises and finding things about the place. He takes the child's ball and throws it in the river, but when he returns home there is a slow bouncing noise coming from the stairs - then slowly the same ball appears from the shadows and lands at his feet. A masterpiece. Demons - Watch this with the lights on. House - Anyone remember the video cases with the severed hand ringing the doorbell on them? Bloodtracks - This film has got members of the cock-rock band Europe in it. Pretty decent horror, actually.
