Paul Lambert is saying Villa are at home on Monday and that will count for a lot for his side. I think he may find he has one or two very voiciferous visitors that night so he can forget a quite night in the dug out watching the Match.

To all the lucky Lads going down there I know you will be as subjued as usual so as not to disturb the Villa supporters too much and hope you have a real great time flying the RED & WHITE banner for those of us left at home.

We will be following very closely on Sky/Radio as circumstances permit but will be with you all in HEART & SOUL.

Please tell Paulo and the Lads to pick up 3 Points for us on the way as the local shop had sold out!

Villa have not done it at home this season, I feel confident we will go there and win and get safe.

A win will all but secure our safety so early pressure would put them off their stride. Go for it large.

With all the noise and bravado coming from Lambert over the last few days, he sounds more worried about Sunderland than Sunderland are worried about Villa <ok>

As Villa manager he really has to "big up" his teams chances of beating a team still in the relegation zone...and a home fixture as well. I get the feeling this a rally call to the Villa faithful to make Villa Park a very hostile place on Monday night..as its **** or bust for them, they HAVE to beat us. I think this game has draw written all over it, as a point will pretty much see us ok I think.

If our away performances at Chelsea and Sid James are anything to go by then he should be.

tbf, pre PDC, our home records were similar to theirs but now it`s obvious we are a different proposition. Home or away we are going to give a damn good account of ourselves.

PDC will have done his homework and I`ll be a little bit disappointed if we come away with less than a point.

Didn`t think I`d be saying that 3 weeks ago.

away win W Hill 23/10 might have half a crown on that.

No point in them trying to crank up the hostile atmosphere to put us of our game. Didn't work at the SDA , won't work at Villa Park either.

23/10s a good price for us. Darren Bent own goal in the 94th minute to clinch the win would be nice :)
