It was clearly time to go but but I said at the time I didnt believe Hughes was the right man. We became boring under Warnock because wed play against the big teams and be happy to lose 1 or 2 nil and Warnock would be beaming on MOTD delighted at how we played without ever giving it a go.
Exactly why we need Karl Robinson. No hidden agenda. His sides play football to make the opposition respond to his style , formation and tactics. No bowing down to the opposition with him. This man has the potential to do wonders with a club with our resources. I would've guaranteed that we would not of gone down with KR at the helm instead of Hughes. Hard to prove, I know. But this man has the man management and ability to get result with meagre resources.
As I've always said, Warnock was like a dog on a chain and an ugly one at that .........However, what he did for the club ( after so many managers couldn't ) will, as far as I'm concerned go down in QPR folklore, cause he gave it his all and got us back to the PL ................ with little help from the 'formula 1 racing team' who only bought the club, to make money. Yes, Neil Warnock is and always will be ( from my point of view ) ............ a club legend, an ugly one at that. ( seen better heads on beers )
