Just back from a thorougly enjoyable day at Punchestown as usual, I thought Sizer put up a good performance in defeat to Sprinter, that being said I do think it was 1 race too many and he wasn't at his peak but it was great to see him up close, i have never seen the parade ring as packed there before and after he won Barry cantered him up and down in front of the stands to the applause of all who came to see him, a nice touch I felt. Jezki was ultra impressive and i was right in thinking he would turn the Chelt form around, very good horse. Hopefully Rule the World will be ok too. Mount Belbuben caught the eye too with a bloodless victory and not really a suprising one, he loved it out there and showed his ability to all today. Good start to the Festival, I hope we get a few more crackers throughout the week and well done to anyone with winners today.
Bayern are ruthless against weaker teams - you see that every week in the bundesliga and Barca were terrible tonight. Messi was like being a man down - shouldn't have played IMHO, for Barca it was all about keeping it tight tonight, resting Messi for the 2nd leg would have been the better choice.
They are coming to San Mames on Saturday STH....even their reserve team is formidable against the likes of us! A draw is possible although Jordi will now be playing after picking up a yellow that excludes him for the CL semi leg two.
I see you have some striking red bricks Humnans...have you been stirring the s**t on the footy boards?
Wish Bilbao well, ya never know..stranger things have happened. Yes i was on them boards and the ****s turned them bricks red, don't know how to change them I don't even know What they are !
