No my good friends. We are just basking in the good news that our wizard fellow Bristolians, Mr Lansdown and Mr Hargreaves have amassed a total in excess of £1 Billion this last financial year. What a tremendous result for our fellow citizens.
When their income taxes are paid they will contribute £8 per head for every man woman and child in Britain. That will be 10 times the amount the Government are trying to save by the new cap on the Benefits Budget.
With guys like these around we will have the country's structural deficit knocked off in no time.

    Well done Steve and Peter!!!!

Common guys, dont be jealous. These two great fellows will still be left with £600 million plus to get through the tough times til next year. They will be saving every working person about 30 quid a year on their income tax. Dont knock them. They are doing a great altruistic job.

Do you really want English Lessons?
Or would you prefer to pay less tax.
    Or perhaps both?

As Stephen Lansdown resides in Guernsey Channel Islands now his taxation is considerably smaller

In Guernsey there is no general capital gains tax, inheritance tax or estate duty, purchase or sales tax, VAT or capital transfer tax. The main taxes are income tax at one rate of 20%; and social security contributions are payable. Property owners and occupiers may be liable for small parish taxes.

In July, 2006, Guernsey's parliament passed a set of economic and taxation changes that includes the zero rate of corporate tax and the capping of personal tax at GBP250,000. The new tax system went into force on January 1, 2008.

Just a few of the reasons one would assume why Mr Lansdown moved to CI,I am sure there were other reasons besides a favourable taxation system, family quality of life etc
