Dai Your Wums and Liverpool

Thing is KJ, its not a difference of opinion thats the problem here, its a constant barrage of Liverpool tainted comments that derail threads and lower the tone, for the guys that have taken time out to post an Article it can become very frustrating. Strong disagreements are fine so is heated debate but we have neither of those things with Daiswan these days.

I feel that because 90% of the guys on here including myself have given him artistic licence over recent months/years he has decided to push the envelope further than the bounderies of a Swans forum will allow. The classic offer an Inch but take a mile scenerio!

Im all for free thinking and left field thoughts but what we have here is a constant flow of tripe that is constantly steering topics away from the origional debate, that is wrong IMO, of course threads naturally venture into different avenues from time to time but thats normal, what many posters are seeing is a conserted effort to Derail and be antagonistic.

People talk about a witch hunt but if there really is a witch that needs hunting then thats ok by me. The guy takes numerous warnings from the MODS, are we all wrong about this guy ?? i think not, when we have the more mild mannered members of this board voicing their dis-satisfaction then it needs to be noted by the MODS and supported by other members if action is taken, it is about the greater good and nothing else.

The greater good of this forum is listening to what the Majority of the membership is saying, its not certain groups of people that are fed up its pretty much everyone!! we are not here to dance to the tune of one specific poster we are here for the love of our club,something that Daiswan has shown very little of in recent conversations,a difference of opinion is fine,an objective viewpoint is fine but like in life there comes a time when you need to back up your views with logic and facts.

What do you do when a poster refuses to use logic or facts ? do we let him carry on spouting complete and utter bollocks all the time because "he is entitled to his views" ?

This is how the Forum tends to roll with Daiswan these days;-

poster " dissapointed with a point today,,i thought we could have won if the final ball was better"

Daiswan "you wont win any games with Laudrup and his tactics, the guy is completly usless and unlesss he changes it back we will be relegated,he is nothing compared to rodgers and i am right that Liverpool will finish higher than swansea proving that brenden is a much better manager than Laudrup"

poster "but dai,laudrup won manager of the year and won a trophy in his first season,how can you say he is useless"

Daiswan " those are the facts and if you dont like them thats tough,i only talk about the facts and its clear to see brenden is a much better manager"


Now you could argue that his points are valid, but if you make such sweeping statements you need to back it up with something,which he refuses to do,if you press him to debate the points you end up with a load of cheap insults, most people would conceed or battle a point of view,he does neither,so what is the point of a guy on a forum that will not enter into debate or accept other peoples views ??

It is truely bizzare and i must say an embarrasment to this Forum.

Many fair minded posters are fed up, i care about those posters,the ones that come here now and again often post the most insightful stuff or offer great points of view,they are very constructive and informed,if we lose posters like this then we lose the lifeblood of our message board!! if it means binning the village idiot then thats fine with me, we are not running or taking part in an ethics commitee its an internet forum,its there for people to enjoy and INTERACT!

If the guy is driving people away then that makes him almost like a bully, bullies need to be stood up to not accomadated !! we have accomadated him for far too long so either tow the line or get the **** out of here and leave people to debate,create..FREELY !!

 

I can't argue with any of that Norway because it happens on a regular basis.

Sometimes I really do wonder what on earth goes on with Dai's thought process when he posts the things he does. I think it's best we leave it to the mods to decide what they want to do.

 

There's been a lot of valid points made on this thread, both for and against.

I must point out that I am against banning one of our own, and still don't want ban Dai. As has been stated, the ball is now in his court and his fate is up to himself.

I hope he can think before he posts because I want him to stay, but that's up to him.

I don't want to harp back to aber,but if you are looking for someone who "derailed" threads you need look no further. His only topics were drugs, or the fact that he would kick your head in given half a chance. Yet there was no concerted effort to remove him;no witch hunt organised against him.

Dai is a pain,no doubt about it,but he can be dealt with. If Liverpool can deal with Suarez,then Dai should be a walk in the park.

 

Before anyone says it,I know, Suarez scores more goals than Dai.

 

Do you think a £300,000 fine and an anger management course for Daiswan will do the trick ?? ...

 

How about a follow up to one of Jack Nicholsons recent movies,viz, "Anger Management 2".That could "do the trick", Dai could replace Adam Sandler. He wouldn't have to be any good to take his place.
As for the fine,well,we can waive that for old times sake.

Dill has openly posted that he went to Blackpool for the weekend with a few of the lads - most of whom are not daily posters. FFS and Dragon Phil met to swop tickets - but both are individual characters as far as I can see.

PFG, I've had the unfortunate experience of meeting Dilli, FFS & Billyb. They will scare the **** out of you especially FFS with his Hannibal Lecter mask, come to think of it he should lend it to Suarez.

 

I have never read a load of codswallop in my life where have i started a love in Liverpool thread???? .....am i not allowed to comment on the Liverpool related thread that is still going strong on here now???? Who are the ones on here stirring things and exaggerating every little thing i say because they get off on it.. I've known Billybjack, Pinball and Dreyfus (we went to Blackpool) for years and before any of us were on here or old 606.
I've met FFS,SA9 and Neveroff in person too (right bunch of ugly sods).
I've also met two of the Chelsea lads Bucks Blue and Logic (real top blokes too).

I don't see what that has to do with anything though, who I know and who I've met has got piss all to do with anything. I agree with just about everything that Norway and Ivor say but that doesn't make us a bloody gang and anyone that thinks that are bloody deluded.

The intention of this thread is to see that Dai doesn't get banned. Just a pity that not everyone can see it.

And by the way if I ever meet up with anyone in the future that I haven't met before then that doesn't make us part of a gang either.
