How does Chelsea dropping 2pts, me saying they'd lost ground as a result and you then saying I was 'stating the bloody obvious' - equate with you then agreeing that Diego was right when he said they hadn't lost ground ?

It's either 'bloody obvious' that they lost ground - or you agree with Diego that they hadn't lost ground

So which is it ? It can't be both.

It seems to me that the only one making a knob of himself is you, PESKIE, for being so affronted by things that I have obviously written in jest (being the sophisticated, witty, intellectual rake that I am). Read it again, you said Liverpool got a goal back in the last minute meaning Chelsea dropped 2 points. Notso said that was stating the obvious as it was and no one was disputing that fact. However they didn't lose ground on you, they gained a point and if they repeated what you deem to be "losing ground on you" by drawing their next game they'll go ahead of you after having played the same amount of games. I'm sure you'll see it as pedantry but really your argument was flawed as has been pointed out from the start.

 

To be fair, notso, that's the best way to deal with PESKIE. I've never actually read anything from him that engages anyone in any real discussion. There is no point in trying to reason with someone who has no interest in debate. PESKIE isn't even admired among his fellow Gooners, for chris sake! In fact, I think he's viewed as something of an amusement, and is tolerated by the majority on that basis. Certainly, I can discern no affection for him from his own kind.

 

Whinger has been told by the FA that AFC's star striker cannot squirm and con his way out of avoiding his three-math ban for his brutal tackle on a Fulham player in their last game. Everyone except Whinger knew it was a fruitless exercise. Frankly, I'd have doubled the ban as punishment for wasting the FA's time.
