I can't delete your post. Only you can. It would be the first step to stop acting like some gobshite keyboard warrior who thinks its cool or something to use the word pig a lot. We all know the type, pig this, fascist that, corrupt the other...omg I've been robbed.../ring 999 HELP ME!!!! The tl;dr version of this whiney thread is: 1. We've sold a LOT of tickets for the game that Barnsley and the SYP have allowed us. 2. We might get more. 3. SYP have asked us, nicely, not to invade the pitch because its a criminal offence and we'd be arrested. 4. SYP also issued some sensible advice about being a pissed up moron and football. 5. Some keyboard anarchists are trying to spin this into their civil liberties being taken away.
Well i would think syp will arrest and love to any city fan who runs on the pitch to justify there recent actions, its a gamble if you do it and properly a fine so save it hopefully for the week after at the KC
My apologies. I honestly thought you were younger. A lot younger. They say with age comes wisdom too, how disappointing.
SYP have allowed us a lot of tickets. Bully for them! If invading the pitch is a criminal offence which automatically means arrest why do pitch invasions at the end of the season occur elsewhere without any arrests? If the excuse is that we are away fans why wasn't it a problem when Cardiff fans invaded the pitch at Cardifff? No wonder there is no vibrancy or atmosphere at so many of our games with some of the wet blanket supporters we have.

You are the most condescending individual i have known. Just because some fans do not like pitch invasions does not make them wet blanket supporters. If we win promotion i would much rather we all stay in the stand, singing and chanting with the players out there with us. Instead of half of us on the pitch, half of us in the stand would be an absolutely crap atmosphere. SYP have done barely anything wrong, i disagree with the club not selling alcohol, and it stops Barnsley making a lot of funds. However the SYP have opened the turnstiles earlier than most other clubs. There is nothing wrong with them asking us not to break the law by invading the pitch.
The atmosphere was crap after the Watford match in 2008? So pitch invasions are alright for other clubs but not ourselves? I won't beindulging in pitch invasions, as I am too decrepit, but unlike so many of our po faced fans, don't expect everyone to be as passionless as them. I can see problems doing it away if the home fans come on for obvious reasons but it should be accepted at the KC if we go up.
please log in to view this image Cardiff's criminals causing a massive H&S risk and ruining the occasion last week.....
Well done to SYP for letting us do something legal is that about right happy clapper ? Why should football fans be treated any differently to rugby fans ?
How many does their ground hold? The stands behind them still look mostly full! Suppose you can't see the other two, but still. That's a lot of paperwork for all those arrests!
All those banning orders too, there will be thousands of empty seats for their first season in the Premiership.
Served up? This silly **** thinks he's Danny Dyer. He was quoting Hyacinth Bouquet the other week, I think he must be bi polar. As well as being a boring bastard.
What a load of bollocks on this thread, this is a huge game for both teams and has the potential for both sets of fans to want to do a pitch invasion. Just about every team does it in their last home game of the season and if we're promoted our fans will want to aswell. If they allowed a pitch invasion what happens when there's a large crowd of both fans on the pitch and some morons decide to cause trouble? How are they going to police that? What of the innocent law abiding citizens who might get caught up in the middle of it all and battered to a pulp for being misfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? The police are doing the right thing here, no matter how much some ****ing idiots on here can't see past history. If they just allowed it to happen and it turned into a scene reminiscent of the 80's they'd have failed miserably in terms of public safety, which is the entire reason they're there. Save it for the Cardiff game when we can have a proper laugh.
Forum is here for debate, discussion and opinion, i would of preferred if i could of been on the pitch at full time if we gained promotion but reading most of the comments in here i suppose its the right thing to do, will just have to happen at home against Cardiff IF everything goes to plan
What makes you think our local ****ers will cheerily wave everyone on and no spit their dummies out threatening banning orders, arrests and H&S issues?
That makes no sense at all. Are you suggesting we should whine about the fact they won't let us do something illegal? They're not doing anything bad to us, they're not treating us badly. There's no restrictions on us, apart from not allowing us to drink watered down beer in the stadium. They're opening up early to make sure we get in to see the start. Oddly enough they don't want a load of home fans pissed off they're probably going down, mixing with a load of us, hopefully celebrating, in the middle of their pitch, which of course would be just amazing...(that's sarcasm btw)... What exactly are you whining about? Because seriously, Im lost now.
