The Champ felt the ecstasy at Cheltenham and Aintree but sadly day one of this festival has been all about the agony.

He is box office Red and plays proper cricket shots, not just slogs.

I also like Sehwag,Afridi,McCullum,Pieterson in that 20/20 format..

    Me too Eddie.

I didn't back any but was considering a saver on him and a bet on Harry Topper..the booking of Jason Maguire put me off that, how right I was.

I think Boston Bob would have been in the shake up.

PT was in the process of riding a belter.

He rode a stinker IMO.I actually thought there was something wrong with the horse and was going to get pulled up.

I have not really been around too much today but did have a look at Yarmouth this evening and think that there is a selection at a value price. I was really interested in Patriot earlier but it has been withdrawn, this will win soon though.

    Yarmouth
7.55 Short Squeeze 15-2 best odds

This horse came second on his last start after being brought along slowly, from the race the only the third horse from the first 5 home has failed to win since so the form looks good. If this one is tuned up for his first run I think he can win.

I missed the start of the race so not entirely sure how he ended up so far behind but he was closing nicely when he came down and he finishes his races well as his effort at Leopardstown in Feb's novice G1 showed.

Would have been second imo but thats by the by now.

OI Ron, CHILL FACTOR won today, the horse you told me not to buy remember LOL......he finished in front of STORM LANTERN last time out who runs in the last at Towcester. With the application of a tongue tie and the de-application of SWC I reckon he can run a big race here. Pipe does well with his Towcester bumpers and its worth a dabble at 10's.
