Spot on. This is a pointless addition to this debate. The second you say SKP you saw a player. The second Reidy did (and remember it wasn't him if actually went to watch) if knew it too. Phillips had the lot in his game. Mcclean has enthusiasm and energy in abundance but that isn't going to make him a good footballer. It means he will always find suitors and never be out of work somewhere but for me, if we really want to kick on under PDC, if isn't good enough. Waiting another 6 months to find out won't change that at all.
It's nice to disdagree with you for a change Cest as we nearly always share the same opinion!! Just my opinion but I would like to see what he can do with the close season. He looked fantastic last season when no-one knew who he was and got found out this season. Decision making is lacking but he made a lot more good decisions against Everton than I have seen him make in an awfully long time! I would give him until the start of the season or midway through August but wouldn't sell him at the end of this season as I think he will be a decent player for the squad to have
I fear the lad will go in the summer due to some ill informed self righteous bigots who have their own agenda were he is concerned. I think he is a good squad player at the minute, whether he can improve, who knows? I've seen some of the disgusting comments on social media sites (some from our own fans) and some of the goading he had to put up with and believed he should of stayed well clear and didn't help himself at times. Honestly! Some people spout on about fighting fascism enabling people the freedom of choice but in the same breath denie this right to him?
Marcus. No problem in disagreeing now and again but don't make a habit of it. Lol It's only opinions mate at the end of the day and The most important one Is PDC's. Derry, I don't have any issues other than football ones mate. I love your country and its people, I just don't rate the player. Good worker and great effort but just not good enough for me.
