Barry Ferguson back in the Scotland set up?

So 32 year old Bazza has stated that he wouldn't rule out playing for Scotland again under Craig Levein.

I'd take him back because he's better than most of the midfielding ****e that is already there - Brown/McCulloch etc

There will be an element of the tartan army who will be unhappy with this though, they are the James McFadden lovers who support Elgin.

i'd like him to come back, doubt the fans would be as bad as they make out. boyd, mcgregor, mcculloch all thought they'd get poor receptions and it was fine, grandfather weir also did it so i think its not a huge worry. i think it'd be good for us as he'd command the game in a way fletcher and brown have failed to do and this would free them up a bit as well. dont know if he will though, he seems to be quite happy out of the spotlight so might want to avoid the hassle

I'd be all for it if he said yes when first asked, but it almost feels like begging and is pretty cringworthy. He's hardly in the Messi or Gary Caldwell bracket.
