Thanks Drogs, will hold out on celebrations for a while though as this is the second time it sold, my previous buyers dropped out a few weeks ago. Don't like champers or wine though, but I have many substitutes lol
Thanks Drogs...and a happy St Georges day to you too! For me it started off prettly bad as I had to go to the funeral of a very good mate and neighbour, but it was a great service and one of his music choices was Eric Idle's "Always look on the bright side of life!"
Yep Happy St George's day to everyone... Basically today is preparing for going to Basel tomorrow for the semi final! And we'll have many drinks out there don't ya worry mate!
enjoy it out there mate, switzerland is beautiful. although I don't imagine you'll be doing many tourist things
Missed St Georges day, so belatedly hope it was a good one for all. Tomorrow is Anzac Day here, so I'll have 2 drinks, one for the Anzacs, and one for St George.
Sorry to hear this, good philosophy on life though, and I'm glad it went well. I think planning our own funerals makes it so much easier on other people not to have to worry about getting it right at a very difficult time.
Thanks angel--He was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago and although he's had lots of chemo therapy and was responding well to it, he went down with pneumonia as well about 4 /5 weeks ago and that was the end! They'd only had us round for drinks and nosh a day before he went to hospital!
