I wonder if he realises the feeling amongst many of the fans?
Fair play to him if it's true though - fronting up the issues like that.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has revealed that he is considering setting up a fans' forum this summer to discuss a mixed campaign at St James' Park.

The Magpies sit 16th in the Premier League and are closing in on safety following their Europa League exit at the quarter-final stage earlier this month.

Pardew believes that fans are still reeling from the crushing 3-0 defeat to Sunderland two weeks ago and has insisted that he will involve supporters in his summer examination of the campaign.

He told the Daily Star: "I know where we are and have no problem talking about this season, I think we can set something up.

"I think that emotions are running high and probably will be until the next home game.

"We are just looking to get rid of the frustration and I've told the players that."

Newcastle are six points clear of the relegation zone following a 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

So... what question would you ask him?

I'd ask him what Jonas has on him.

 

1. why do we have so many constant injuries?
2. why do we never score from set plays?
3. will there be a change in formation / system next season as it clearly isn't doing well atm
4. how has Santon got worse after playing so well last season
5. would you take Remy off QPR?

 

I think this is a positive move. Its an acknowledge from him that this season has not been good enough, and that he is not burying his head. My only advice to him would be not to bring up the Europa and tiredness more than once even if I do feel it has validity!!

I reckon he has just been reading not606...........

We're golden Jim, I knew there was a reason for keeping the faith. Maybe he'll make me chief party organiser for the lads. I'll keep them on the straight and narrow. Granted we'll spend a lot of time in strip clubs but that just enriches their life and helps nuture a positive outlook/keen eye. So I'm told anyway.

 

It'll also give them a heads up on tried and tested tactics like shooting from distance, getting in behind and playing in the hole.

That said I did get a lifetime ban for engaging such tactics against a tight unit at Spearmint Rhino's in Brighton some years ago.
