No, this isn't a joke, this really is happening Mikel and Ramires better kept on the bench, it'll be a free for all on them as far as challenges are concerned. All it confirms is how much contempt they have for this club, Clattenburg shouldn't be reffing ANY Chelsea game again this side of the decade never mind 7 months (to the day almost) after wrecking our season. I can take incompetence and mistakes but when I see corruption right in front of my eyes it spoils the enjoyment for me. There's a massive imbalance at all levels in this league, the likes of Wigan constantly on the receiving end of bad calls at the expense of the likes of us/Arsenal etc but then even at the top you have a bigger imbalance with Liverpool and United getting far more favourable calls than their direct competition i.e City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton etc. 2nd rate players (generally speaking), 2nd rate referees, 2nd rate football, 2nd rate league, 1st rate prices. Yesterday highlighted the reason why I get so much more pleasure out of cup football than this sanitised product Sky constantly thrusts in our faces. Give me CL football over the PL anyday.
You couldn't make it up !!!! After that ring piece who "reffed" against Liverpool, we now get Clattenberg !!!!!! The best the team can do is treat him politely, but don't talk with him unless absolutely necessary. That way he will be under even more pressure to be fair and reasonable, which is at the extreme end of his capabilities. This has "set up" written all over it.
