Piers Morgan ‏@piersmorgan 3h Oh good, Van Pursestrings has scored in 90 seconds - the guy Wenger/Gazidis sold 'for footballing reasons', so United could win the League. Piers Morgan ‏@piersmorgan 3h Van Pursestrings has scored 22 Prem goals for Utd, worth at least 22pts. If Arsenal had those goals and points... we'd be ahead of them. Piers Morgan ‏@piersmorgan 3h No club's ever gifted the League as we did to Utd this year. Most disgraceful transfer in Arsenal history. Piers Morgan ‏@piersmorgan 3h Great. Now Van Pursestrings scores goal of the season from a 40yrd Shrek pass. Happy days! Thanks again Piers Morgan ‏@piersmorgan 3h Arsenal need to sign @luis16suarez - so he can score the goals we need, and bite Ivan Gazidis whenever he feels hungry. Piers Morgan ‏@piersmorgan 3h And Van Pursestrings scores a 32-minute hat-trick. Great. Just ****ing GREAT
Eight years is about half of most players careers, hardly impatient. When you see the best players in your team being sold year after year it must be dis-heartening, besides i am led to believe you have scored more this season without RVP than you did last season with him so maybe he did you a favour leaving, if he stayed you may be in sixth place instead of fighting for fourth.
Personally he's a **** and what is done s done. Of every time something United related happens and we all obsess over RvP nothing productive will happen. Now if idiots like shawn would stop posting and leave the banter to sensible lads like you and Dave that would also help.
All I care about is our result against ManU next Sunday. Forget all that Van United ****. We CAN beat them and we must. All the rest is irrelevant. ( And my guess is RVP will be rested next weekend)
Nasri, I am not sure Wenger fought as hard for. Cesc, it seemed to me really wanted to go back to Barcelona and I think Fabregas and Wenger were as upset about it as each other. To be honest I think they showed a lot of class over the move and it was as personal as it could be. I think Arsenal may have lost a very fine player in that move, but they gained a lot of respect from future signings. RVPs move was all about RVP. Arsenal were trying to sign him to a new contract 2 1/2 years before his old one expired and he refused. I don't believe even the board had any choice about letting him go. The story I heard is that he wouldn't even sit down and discuss a new contract with Arsenal
Bayern Munich vs Barcelona tonight. Fancy Bayern in this one, especially when you consider the state of Barca's defence. Plus, their away record has not been great in Europe this season (lost to Celtic and Milan). Whatever the result, it should be a cracker.
bayern vs barca starting in a minute. should be an absolutely cracking game. both teams have a scintillating attack, and bayern's defence aren't too shabby either...
Bayern need at least 3-0 or i still think Barca will win the tie. Its a shame they keep getting the second leg at home, its a massive advantage for them
