    I'm going to say 5-2.

Villa score two quick goals before Utd pull it together again...

Haha I think that prediction was based more on hope than expectation for sure.

I think Arsenal didn't consider themselves title challengers! <whistle>

I got the impression the arse had no real choice if they didn't want him to leave for free the next year

    Yeah I'm having 7-1 lol

Just seen what I think was RVP's 2nd and it's absolutely obscene. A pure dream of a volley.

He is not of this earth.

We should get our 500k bid in for RVP while we still can!

That's a bit harsh on Lambert. He did a great job for us and unless he bad mouths us, I don't wish him ill will. I would be happy for Villa to stay up but.there again I don't wish Wigan any ill will either. I don't want to rely on either of them losing. I want us to get another 12 points this season.

I just wanted to see goals really. The whole Lambert thing didn't come into my thinking. It isn't looking particularly likely now anyway.

I want Villa to go down because I can see them being strong next year if they stay up

If they go down it will be "sell the family silver" time

    Weimann anyone?

Fair point about Villa. If Wigan somehow manage to get themselves out of it they would inevitably struggle again next season. Villa, on the other hand, you would expect to improve considerably.

Also, the prospect of Weimann & Ricky pairing up is mouth watering.

I said something similar the other day. Wigan are perennial struggler's, Villa aren't. I expect Villa to be solid mid-table next season should they survive, whilst Wigan are likely to be in a similar position in 12 months time.

I wouldn't mind some of the Wigan attacking players too beef. Maloney, MacArthur, Gomez or beasajour, any of them would be a great addition to us

Good second half damage limitation by Villa.

Villa are absolutely skint, unless they sell anyone I bet we spend more than them on players next season.
