I'm sorry to bring this up again, but if you think compairing a wheelchair bound supporter to a character from Little Britain is not taking the piss out of him simply because of his disability then I dispair.

Yeah, i dont think i could stay cool as a mod. as i like to get the banter throwing aswell as constructive posting. id feel the mod title would just put a target on your back with a few people determined to make it a difficult job to do.

but all of you seem to be doing a good job so dont listen to any of the nobs that are floating around

Well to be perfectly honest when I saw the picture of the TWO of them, I thought that it looked like a sketch from Little Britain. If the guy in the wheelchair had been there on his own, the comparison would not have entered my head any more than if the able-bodied lad had been by himself.
My opinion is that the posters on that thread were taking the piss out of BOTH of them, not just the guy in the wheelchair.

Do you honestly think the lad in the wheelchair would see it that way if he was reading those comments?

I can see where you draw the line, and i can see why what you said is justified, in the eyes of some.

I didn't personally feel that the poster had attracted any particular relevance to the disability, but i can see how it could be construed.

I think it's best put to bed, and i certainly don't think your in the wrong to defend the integrity of someone with a disablility.

The tragedy for me was the able bodied fella in the 2 stripe pants!

Four threads on page one of the Sunderland board about Newcastle.

Edit: Just spotted another mention. That's 5.

I would hope that he would, yes.

My godson is in a wheelchair (motorbike accident at 19) and I can confidently say that he would have.

And regarding Mods using swear words: I really don't care one way or the other. I was getting at Badger for reverting to calling me a ****, twat, tit etc when he had no constructive arguments left to debate..I just thought that being a mod he would at least attempt to show a little more class. However, i didn't realise that he was just a bairn so maybe I should have taken that into account.

I think that if a rival fans comes on our board with a sensible point of view or decent witty banter or clever wumming they should treated accordingly. However, if someone comes on with ****ty wumming or abuse then they deserve everything they get.

I don't see anything unusual in a rival club having articles about the 'enemy' marra, especially a rivalry such as ours.

You're on our board a lot, which we certainly don't object to, is itnot the same principle?

Well we have 0 threads on the front page of our board about you guys, so you know.

And most of the time I come on here to make some mostly constructive comments because I just like talking about football in general. All five of the threads about us on this board are just insults or WUM's coming out of absolutely nowhere for no apparent reason.

Is it not the case that you don't wanna talk about us because of the way the season ended.

I was on your board after the game on Sunday, the articles about us were above double figures.

You're welcome on our board, as you genuinely do contribute some decent stuff, but this is bollocks.

There weremulti article of pure bile on your board the other day, **** happens mate.

Well you're one of the dickhead mackems so I'm never gonna be nice to you. In fact, it's people like you which always maintain that mild feeling of hate towards Sunderland which I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

Oh there were threads all over both boards about both teams on the Sunday and even Monday. It's Wednesday now though and after it's all died down they're still popping up, usually created by the dickheads. I also suspect that they will continue to appear over the coming months.

If you wanna defend the more moronic mackems who fill up some of YOUR Sunderland board with threads about OUR club though, then you can go ahead. Personally, it would annoy me after a while.

I love how I get the blame for deleting comments from Roger all the time. Once again, not me. <ok> There are 3 moderators on our board <ok>

In relation to me swearing, the reason there is a swear filter is because you get to choose whether you want to see bad language or not, and when you do see it, don't complain about it if your swearing filter isn't on. In terms of insults, yes I said some, not denying it and not ashamed of it because quite simply RAW, you were being far too politically correct for my liking and were being ridiculous imo. Its my opinion, everyone is entitled to one and you are more than entitled to state your opinion, another right of mine is to disagree. There are many times I am having a decent discussion on here and it is ruined by one obvious person slating my comments alone, ruins the whole article, however yesterday it was ruined by quite a few being rather bitter and changing the subject from what was a light-hearted discussion between both sets of fans.

That's all I have to say on the matter :)

If there comes a point where i feel it's excessive, then i'd put an article up giving my opinion.

I think at the minute we are mainly talking transfer targets and next season, the articles are such a small deal i'd barely noticed your point mate.

Bear in mind some aren't against the club, but in direct reference to members of this board, 2 different things marra.

I feel embarrassed for the sad geordie bastards personally. They spend more time on OUR board than they do on their own boards and are easier to wind up than a clockwork toy. I have had more bites form the dark side than a shelf full of Dracula books.

Could it be that there is **** all of any interest to discuss about the lower placed NE club?
Could it be that they know 2nd season syndrome will soon be with them and Pardew will be found out this summer for the 'total non-entity' he really is in the world of football?
Could it be that as a newly promoted, lower placed club and the lesser of the 2 NE clubs, they have only ONE GAME to harp on about and know that the day of reckoning is beckoning.

Remember Birmingham finished the season in 15th position (only 3 behind Noocarsel) and were relegated this year. We won’t have the same level of injuries again and will strengthen considerably. They had their best chance to oust us as Top Cats of the NE this season and blew it.

I feel that in 12 months time both clubs will again be in different divisions but that we will still have the likes of Man Utd and Chelski to welcome to the SOL?

You reckon Man Utd, Chelsea and Sunderland to get relegated?

    I'll go put a £1 on that.
