Not true. The French FA honoured the ban given to Barton but that's not across the board. Suarez was in the middle of serving his biting ban when he joined us but played straight away. As I said at the beginning of the thread, part of me thinks they will try to make an example of him and give him ten games but I think five would be appropriate in relation to other bans.

Has he received any red cards at all this season? If not then he should get the standard 3 game ban, maybe add one or two due to it being a disgusting act, but then again many challenges are also disgusting and they aren't at all increased so neither should this one. If he's been warned about his conduct after the Evra incident then I can understand an extra two games. Shouldn't be any more than 5. To be honest I don't really care. What's pissed me off is the cheating twat of a referee who played well into the seventh minute of stoppage time and allowed Liverpool to score. It was one thing to not send off the three Liverpool players and add on a ridiculous amount of stoppage time in the first place. I didn't even mind Suarez scoring after what he done and the fact that he shouldn't have been on the pitch. None of that bothered me, he could have scored a hattrick against us as long as we won that match. The referee is more deserving of a ban and public dressing down for his diabolical performance. Liverpool are really stuck between a rock and a hard place They have a wonderfully gifted player, one of the top 3 or 4 in the league without doubt But he brings more baggage than any player going, some players have the knack of bringing on bad reps for diving (Bale, Ronaldo, Drogba) some for being right nasty bastards (Barton, Keane) and some for racist abuse (Terry) Suarez seems to bring it all and the only people who will suffer will be Liverpool and Suarez, Liverpool arent as effective without him and after he probably receives a minimum 5 game ban (could be anything up to 12) he blew his own chance at getting the Golden Boot for this season His ban is irrelevent unless he stays at Liverpool and misses a game against Chelsea next year because the big problem was the fact he stayed on the pitch against us and scored a late, late, late, late equaliser
None of these can pass on HIV. There is a reason physios have to wear gloves and players have to leave the field and change there kit if there is any blood involved.

He needs to be dealt with harshly. I'm a Liverpool fan but more importantly I'm a dad who's son plays football... If he bit someone or someone bit him i'd go apeshit! I think he'll get a 10 game ban and I hope he learns from it. I don't want Suarez to go but he needs to be disciplined for his actions

Seriously? If you want to to go to extremes then you could say a punch can kill! Just to be clear, I think Suarez should severely punished, ten plus games wouldn't be unjust for the actions. But, going by the FA rules he shouldn't get anywhere near that.
