It is cynical but I guarantee that's how it will pan out if banned. Always thought the 10pt penalty for going into administration was wrong too. If you go into administration then fair enough, you face the penalty. But when a team is facing relegation they hang on to see what happens: avoid relegation and the points are deducted that year so your relegated anyway, finish in the relegation zone and they deduct the points the following season. It's a "one way or the other, we're going to **** you up the arse!" approach.
