Gotta love my Mum!!! 1 and a half hours on the phone, 625 calls. pennine mate, WE'RE OFF TO OAKWELL!!!!!
Sounds like my foray last Wednesday - arrived at .30 - nobody there - by 7.30 one geezer turned up - top bloke with flask of coffee he shared - then by 8.30 the queue arrived.
For those questioning travel disruptions, it's only between Hull and Goole as far as I'm aware, where there is a coach. I will be making the game by a ten minute train journey there, then back to hull after ready for rovers the next day, hopefully partying allthe way back to Hull UTT
Initial allocation of 5000 Barnsley tickets sold out, they've enquired about getting more: Hull City A.F.C. Our initial allocation of over 5,000 tickets for Saturday’s match at Barnsley has now sold out. We have enquired about receiving further tickets for this fixture, and will update fans on this situation as soon as we hear anything.
Is anyone taking the train down to Barnsley from Hull? Sounds like there's quite a few taking the train!
The club have sold over 1,500 tickets in three hours, the ticket office must be getting the hang of things now.
Me and my mates are off for a night out round Leeds afterwards, so getting to Leeds and then off on train to Barnsley also. Leeds Universities seem very popular with people in the East Riding & a lot work over there, so I assume there'll be quite a few going from there. Fingers crossed it's a great day.
How will we find out if more have become available? I phoned earlier and had the wrong card so had to phone back later. I even asked the lad at 11.50 have you got many left and he said yeah loads. ****
Got 2 Tickets for Barnsley this morning, hopefully off to Train station tonight to get a ticket, someone say there is travel disruptions?!
What category did you expect it to be? Don't forget the extra policing costs as Humberside plod have their usual nervous breakdown at the thought of a large crowd, a large number of away fans, and, horror of horrors!- people celebrating.
There'll be a message from the club made on the website and Twitter no doubt. I'm sure someone on here will keep you informed.
Odd as I got mine online after this. Have they actually taken them off sale online? Or does the fact that I've paid my money and had a confirmation email not actually guarantee a ticket ...
I take it City won't beam it back at the KC? Like they did when we played Yeovil, Tranmere, Luton etc.
