A little bit like 'after the Lord Mayor's show' the PGA Tour moves onto the next venue and a visit to the Harbour Town Links Golf Club, where Carl Petterson will be looking forward to defending his title of last year. Noted for its tight fairways and small greens this course has been a favourite of the PGA for some time now. It is one of the very first course design's to be done by Jack Nicklaus, with the help of golf course specialist Pete Dye, back in 1969. This has become a bit of a blue print for future designs for future coastal courses, and that 'Links' like feel to it. It isnt a very long course, only coming in at a relatively short 6,973 yards, but it will test the golfer if the wind gets up, which it has been tipped up to do at the weekend.

With the small greens and narrow fairways you don't need a big hitter to do well here, more of a positional golfer, who knows which angle to come in at when making his approach shots to the greens. It isnt the hardest of courses to score from but the natural elements will take care of them shooting super low scores...

A few players that i have been keeping an eye on recently turn up here and where i wouldn't normally pick them elsewhere i do think that they will suit here this weekend...

Boo Weekly isnt a player of great finesse and grace but he dos damn well around here. The last player to have multiple wins here, back to back wins at that in 2007 + 08, he finished T6th last year to Carl Petterson. He isnt exactly firing on all cylinders at the moment but he dos play well here and has good records and scores to back that up....

Bill Haas hasn't got a great record around here but arguably comes to the Heritige in some of the best form of his career. His record this year of a best 3rd and 5 top 10's have shown the sort of consistency missing from his previous years play, and he just need to back these stats up with a full PGA Tour win. Comes here after finishing the Masters in T20th, and hopefully he can carry on the upward curve he has shown so far this year...

Aaron Baddeley, so you wait for one to arrive then 2 turn up...!!! After Aussie Adam Scott won last weeks Masters can Baddeley replicate his fellow countryman here at the Heritge. He won here back in 2006 and is currently enjoying a good spell with the putter at the moment. Ranked 4th in Strokes Gained Putting at TPC San Antonio, he also sits 4th on tour in the stat for the year, plus 41st in Scrambling and 59th in Adjusted Scoring...

Kevin Stadler is probably playing as well as he has done for a while now, and comes here with some confidence behind him. Has a stat of 7th in GIR, 14th in Total Driving, 12th for Birdie Average and is 7th in the All Round Rankings. Posted a T4th last year so can hopefully reproduce that form again here this year...

    Boo Weekley @ 33/1...
    Bill Haas @ 40/1...
    Aaron Baddeley @ 50/1...
    Kevin Stadler @ 66/1...

All done in the ususal £2.50 e/w... PadPow pay 1/4 odds top 5...

Good luck to all who play...<cheers>

I would love to know how many times Brendon De Jonge has been in the top part of the leaderboard on Sunday and fade away timidly all the time, I'm very suspicious of him for some reason.

yeah another disappointing final round STH

I had high hopes, was only £3 e/w on at 66/1 but i thought i had e/w money at least

That said, De Jonge is leading the birdie tally on PGA this season

Not a tournament that a did well on as Bill Haas faded badly with a +5 last round score. His finish of T24th is not going to get owt back for me...!!!

I feel for you Smokin as you had three of your picks all finish T9th...!!! Lets hope for better next time pal...<ok>
