Not a chance... I see a few getting sold -especially if Celtic dont get champs lge group stages. Pity
There is a few who have to go to fit our model. I'll be sorry to see them go, but we have to get used to it.
Hooper will be off. His post-match comment pretty much said as much. Wanyama I'm not too sure about. A few clubs were impressed by his CL performances but they might want to give it another season. Rogne and McCourt I expect to see leave but then I've been saying that for the past couple of seasons. I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the EPL newcomers (possibly Cardiff) put in a £5m bid for Commons.
Watfod will sign him as they need someone to help all the overseas players to learn English. Actually....................
I'll be disappointed if Hooper and others leave but not surprised or upset, it's a simple fact of life that we can't hold onto quality players, few clubs can as most players will look out for themselves and who can blame them. Lennon has said himself that players will leave and that he thinks the team needs "freshened up". We just have to learn to live with it, every player has a value and we can't gamble on making the CL so money has to be made in the transfer market.
I'd like to see Russell and Mackay Stevens at Celtic next season as squad players. If Celtic get Champs League, hope Lenny's scoting team can unearth a few more gems like Hooper and Vic.
I would in one way.... In another I'd prefer they stayed where they were and built the SPL as a product.
That's the issue... Id like Jackie to build a side next season - they have the basis of a good squad to maybe put a challenge together, however, I can see these guys being target by other clubs and I'd rather kepp them in Scotland rather than lose them to smaller teams in England i.e McCarthy
