    It's a good point however

I fully expect everyone to agree in a very short time that we need a new manager. It's the end and i think both Hughes and Redknapp will be remembered as massive failures. IMO I preferred Hughes as was very surprised that it didn't work out for him. Harold since then has had every chance and plenty of time and support to gel these players and he hasn't and teh fact that he still talks about the club as them ... shows you exactly the culture you don't need. He honestly believes he is bigger than QPR and separate from them ... The bloke has never done that well in football IMO and was never in the running for that ****ty England job. Look at his team ... failures. I hope he goes to be honest we keep the squad and get someone in to manager the team

I'm not coming over here to WUM, so please don't take it that I am. I know how being in your position feels!

It's pleasing to see that at least some of you are appearing to turn on Harry. I and many other Saints fans did warn of the dangers of appointing Harry. He was not the saviour that you and media thought. The guy is useless; tactially inept. He gets by solely by spending sack load of cash, and using his vast array of football contacts to help bring players in (Jenas and Townsend being a prime example). But the media love him, so will never say a bad word against him. And this must presumably rub off on neutrals fans, who haven't yet experienced the man first hand.

So long as you ditch Harry (and I honestly think you need to - in the past decade, Harry's only experience of the Championship was five very poor months with us), then I'll wish you all the best next season. Get the right man in charge, bring in some young quality players, and let Tarraabt destroy every Championship defence once again, and we'll hopefully see you again in 14/15.

Whilst 'Arry's shortcomings, especially in terms of coaching and effective control, have become apparent, 'the Force' really was against him from the outset. Can't think of anyone who could've guaranteed survival with all the instability and legacies of Briatore and Hughes to work with.

'Arry WAS well on the way to sorting us by shoring up our leaky defence with Nelsen and Hill as twin towers.

Unfortunately Nelson's 'glass' knees had gone and when management opportunity came a-knocking, didn't make sense holding on to him. Equally unfortunately, the coup that was the huge investment in Chris Samba hasn't worked out. Who'd have believed that back in January? Seems Nelsen's excellent positioning and reading of the game was the quality both Samba (at Blackburn) and Hill relied upon and couldn't replicate.

Question is now, has 'Arry got the skills needed to rebuild for a compelling challenge for the NPC? No evidence of it imo. If not 'Arry then who?

I like the Karl Robinson at MKD option....or Martin Allen @ Gillingham. Like Poyet but not sure why he'd come nor Zola who is another option. In any case needs to be younger, brighter & with progressive modern ideas, not the old school up & at em brigade we've suffered with the last 3 who all ran out of steam v quickly

I'm not wumming, just not a fan of old Twitchy!

Good luck with finding a young, modern manager that can coach players to become better, Redknapp is the past.

Harry is the most overrated manager there is in the business.....just ask all the clubs he has had and i bet none of them would employ him again in a million years......keep him at your peril and you will be in the relegation battle with him saying the same things that you want to hear but does not happen.....

He might be one of those who can keep it ticking along but he certainly cannot turn around a team. Look at Bournemouth, they sacked their manager when they were in the relegation zone and just got promoted.
