For the sake of discussing something other than the Suarez incident, Sturridge was fantastic today, made an immediate impact and provided a great cross for the equaliser, looked much more up for it than he has for a while, although playing against a former club probably helped that quite significantly.
My MOTM for today, the first half was dull anyway. Hope he keeps it up but we'll have to see about that. If (or rather when) Suarez gets banned he will probably be leading the line, likely with Coutinho and Downing (who wasnt bad at all today IMO, not sure if his flick to Suarez for the first goal was entirely intentional but that was class) on the wings.
    What do you think?

All he needs now is consistency.

Sturridge is a good player and a useful foil for Suarez. He lets the Uruguayan play a little deeper and gives him more freedom.
Only problem with starting both is finding a midfield that works well in a 4-4-2.

After the last couple of games I was a little wary as to where he might fit in the system. Seems to play best when playing alongside Suarez and Downing. Glad to see him on form again because he is a real threat when he isn't covering right back and picking the ball up in our area. Needs to stay up top in the centre <ok>

well spotted...which is why it was quite annoying he never really got back in the box after said goal.

tap ins are better bread and butter than any other form of goal for a striker and frnakly nobody at all is getting in the box when we've two over lapping full backs. our system "bites"

Danny was awesome today, unlucky not to have a brace and again he linked up with Suarez brilliantly, why did he not start someone remind me again?

Also Shelvey should be banned form shooting forEVER

Remind you of why he didn't start?

Because the mighty Downing who is clearly far superior in terms of footballing ability (<doh>) is favoured more by Rodgers, god knows why <doh>

Even with Suarez banned Rodgers will find a way to not play him or play him out of position.

Sturridge and Coutinho have been our two best players since end of January. Suarez has had a bit of a lull recently... although reluctantly have to admit he played well today.

Sturtidhe should start everygsme. And as a striker not a winger or wing back.
