Not sure that Harry will be holding out for a fortune. He's let players go he didn't fancy for under the odds before.....maybe Taarabt would be an example of that. Does like to free up funds does Harry. Plus they have already made a profit from Keane.....bought him for ã7mil, sold him for ã20.3 mil, then rebought him for ã12 mil so are already ã1mil + up on transer fees so it wouldn't be like they're losing huge amounts of money on a cheaper sale. I think Keane might be ok for a season. His form has dropped as has been said but Neil could get him back to a level that would be easily acceptable. His goalscoring record has been fairly consistant even lately when his form has dipped West ham 2 goals in 5 games Celtic 16 goals in 17 games Spurs 15 goals in 34 games Liverpool 7 goals in 23 games Spurs 107 goals in 202 games Leeds 19 goals in 38 games Inter 0 goals in 4 games Coventry 12 goals in 33 games Wolves 29 goals in 77 games Total 207 goals in 433 games (doesn't include sub appearances) I think as long as the money was right...at the age of 30...he has another 'good' season in him, and next season will be our most important for a while. Saying all that I don't think he'll be at our club.
GloucesterRanger, you have convinced me with the stats, at the right money and wages, he is worth a shot.
he took his 1st goal really well last night but it was against Northern Ireland not one of europes greats his form for west ham was disappointing so this one bothers me on his day he's a great finisher but those days may be over.
