Great fightback from Alonso without DRS, but this race was a disaster. It couldn't have been any worse.
Near the end, Hamilton pushed Webber wide but not entirely - that's how to race. Perez pushed Alonso completely off the track. Hopefully some penalties will help Alonso. Perez is out of control.
Doubt it, exactly the same manouver as Button put on Perez at the exact same corner. Checo took racing line, Alonso put himself in that position due to racing. Racing incident.
Good that it just seems to be DC/Brundle on the podium now both can talk to the drivers properly and ask good questions does seem strange though having DC up there when the BBC are not even showing the race... Also where the f*** was Hamilton in the first half of the race? I know Brundle mentioned it in commentary but it did seem strange that he was nowhere and then suddenly had the pace to challenge and was able to keep his tyres in good condition.
I'm so sick of Croft bringing up Sky Race Control every 4-5 minutes. Man Sky are a bunch of pretentious douches.
Just thought i'd mention, but Kimi is only 3 races away from equaling Schumacher's record for consecutive points finishes.
Grosjen, Perez and Paul had all been told to step up their game. They did just that today. Massa and Nico just faded. And TR were nowhere.
I'm torn between Grosjean, Pérez and Lewis, myself. Very different drives but equally impressive gains. Vettel's victory was all too predictable, unfortunately.
Amazing race. Bahrain is the best track wheel-to-wheel racing in my opinion, every other corner is an overtaking zone. Shame the race for the win was over after a half a dozen laps, so pleased Vettel and Raikkonen are pulling clear in the championship though. Some amazing racing right down the field. Great battle between the McLaren drivers which Button's complaining about right now. By far Perez's best performance since his McLaren deal was announced. Grosjean had a strong race too, I don't think the crititcism of him this year has been fair so good to see him up there. Felt a bit sorry for Di Resta, his dangerous hunger wasn't enough for a podium in the end. Good drive from Lewis too, especially when you consider Rosberg had to four stop. Absolute nightmare for Ferrari. Lost track of the number of failures Pirelli have had this season.
A lot of aggressive driving but nothing that overstepped the mark, with the possible exception of Webber on Rosberg.
