Just tidied up, mrs overseeing bath time for the kids. At 11.30am got a call cancelling a family event at last minute, with three very disappointed kids in the car at the time. One hour later and less expense than the cost of a match day ticket and the kids are with their cousins enjoying a barbecue, and the rest of the family pile over. I forget all about the Rs for the first Saturday in I don't know how long and had a great afternoon. Bloody great Aberdeen Angus burgers too! So for once, spontaneously I've had a great Saturday, enjoyed the sunshine and family, and look forward to a few more over the Summer, then get back into it next August! COYRs!!!
Wish I had done something better but stayed in behind my computer trying to fatham out why on earth what I was watching and being pissed off that I could be doing something more positive with my time. Anyway came to the decision that this was the the last bit of QPR I will be getting involved with until August so I for one am switching off on Saturdays and signing off from hear, see you all in a few months.
Nice thread. I'm actually upbeat about the future. I'm currently in India trying to find a different kind of lifestyle for now and I'm watching all this happen from somewhat afar, although I've been able to catch some games here. I don't support QPR because they have the best players, I support QPR because its QPR. my family are from the area, we've always supported, LR is like a second home and I just love being a QPR supporter. I do actually think that QPR are the most bizarre team and we have the strangest luck/fortune. But that's a part of being a rangers supporter. I am looking forward to the future. I can't imagine that the owners won't learn from this and we can still move onwards and upwards from where we are. I think we'll enjoy some football again next year and who knows where we'll end up but there will always be good moments and good players coming and going. If you need constant success then support Man U. I, on the other hand, will continue to support the team I love and can't get enough of.
Agree with your sentiments and support QPR for the same reasons. What changes are you trying to make to your lifestyle. Sounds intriguing.
Well, my father was born in India so I've been able to claim overseas citizenship of India. I've come here looking to find more truth and become as best a person I can be through meditation, yoga, volunteering or whatever I find. I've been here since December 5th and I'm here until I feel like I've got enough of what I came for.
I admire what you're doing. But you don't need to go to India to see that the truth is it's all Mark Hughes fault.
If that's what you're after AW, never been to India myself but from everything I've heard about it, you're in the right place. All the best mate.
