One of my friends for school is going to afgan in a few weeks so on saturday we are having a going away party for him. My girlfriend has decided that the reason i didnt ask if she wanted to go was because i am ashamed of her never mind that she has never met the guy who the party is for or any of the other guests. Once i pointed that out she decided that she never sees any of my friends from school so there must be something wrong with her. I have been out for a drink with them once in the past year so i hardly ever see them my self she has met most of my other friends apart from one who she refused an invite to a party from. this fight has been going on for about 3 days now, im close to ****ting in a pair of her shoes.
That burds for you ... I have similar issues - I speak with people/meet up with people who I new from years ago ( randomly) and the wife thinks I'm hiding her away! FFS - I see them once in a blue moon !
Just tell your bird horror stories about your mates and she'll never ever want to meet them - thats what i do Everytime i mention im going down the boozer just when she s about to say she'll come i always say to meet such and such and shes not interested Easy way to do it

My birds the same I went to a party last weekend that my cousin invited me to and I never asked her to come. The guy who was having the party didn't even know I was going. She went in a mood saying I was embarassed by her etc and was raging I didn't want to go to the pub with her. Thing is, she had arranged a night with 2 of her pals and didn't invite me. Did I care? Did I ****. Her pals cancelled on her so she expected me to change my plans She's away to a hen night on Saturday and asked if she could stay at mine after it. Told her if she didn't drop the mental act she would be slinging her hook As my mate from college says, all birds are ****ing psycho
get her a Phd my mrs is working all the time, next thursday i leave on my 5 day drinking bonanza she's proof reading
You have to turn it back on her, accuse her of being suffficaing, not allowing you any freedom, becoming too controling and how you fear that if you continue down that this path she'll end up beating you.

just realised that part of the problem could be saturday apparently marks 1 year together. still not caving in though.

this was resolved last night when i demanded an invitation to her friends wedding party which is tonight. she informed me that i was being unreasonable and from this point a win was inevitable.
