Same here. Great to sign him for another stretch but I don`t understand the panic.
How come there`s a worry about losing him in the summer window if he still has 2 years left on his contract?

Someone please explain because this sort of thing baffles me.

The worry is, if you leave it for another year,it's when other teams start sniffing around with under table offers as it,s January when they can start to negotiate. ****e, but thats the ****e of Mr Bosmans legacy.

The longer the contract the higher the fee i think, as i've said before, i dont think we'll lose anybody we want to keep unless its for silly money £10m from arsenal is nowhere near silly imho £25m maybe, even then i dont see why we should, he's 25 and getting better every season

He is one of the 'lesser' earners although in the crazy football world £20k is deemed poor somehow?

I would get a new contract on the table with a £30m minimum buy out clause which would mean 2 things.

    1) It puts off potential buyers like Arsenal
    2) If he does go, we get properly compensated for his scholarship.

Hope he doesn't go as he is the best keeper in the EPL right now for me, which makes him one of the top 10 in Europe imo and he will only get better.

So would I marra, but he'll be off to a champions league club imo, if not this summer, then definitely next and the longer his contract is then the higher the fee. He's an outstanding goalkeeper and the more dosh we get for him the better

So, if I`ve got this correct, the contract itself means nothing. The only difference is that the longer it has to run, the more it costs to tear it up.

    Is that about right?

it's all down to the Mig ultimately, if we stay up then there's no way we need to sell unless it drags into his final year.

10m pieces of paper with the queens head on is worth more than one with a splash of ink. In a nutshell....Yes.

    Cest,

8k a week he's on, 8k a week for the best keeper in the league.

He needs a ****ing massive pay-rise.

For Migs, I would be happy if we put him on £60k a week tbh. The only one who's earning his money IMO. We need to keep him. Our survival depends on it
