We can't NEED to beat Cardiff on the last day. At the very worst we will be one point ahead of Watford going into that last match, which means we would have to equal Watford's result to be promoted.
Leicester V Watford is going to be a very tough game to call - both sides under huge pressure to get 3 points. Then us at Barnsley which is also going to very tough - the pressure will be on their players from their fans, which could affect them in either performing out of their skins or they wilt and we could also be under pressure if Watford win the previous evening as the gap will only be 1 point, playing away could help us as the players will not feel the crowd like in yesterday's game. Realistically it is still in our hands but at the moment I'm certain I'm not the only fan who would not want to risk betting on Hull to get promoted.

Well said kk. We'll win at Barnsley but talking about the situation we are in is all part of the excitement. The people dishing out the abuse to fellow fans look like they are the ones panicking not the other way round.
For what it's worth, if Watfraud take 6pts from Leicester (A) and Leeds (H) I'll eat my hat. They've been about as reliable as my £5 rolex. Meaning you'd only need a point. Leicester will throw the kitchen sink at Watford. They are a point out of the play-offs and have Florist away as the last game. They will feel it's a must win game for them.
If Watford win their last two games and we lose to Barnsley then we will need to beat Cardiff to go up. Lets just do the business at Barnsley and enjoy the Cardiff game.

Watford need to win both their matches or win and draw - otherwise we are promoted. If Watford win one and draw one we need one draw. If Watford win both matches we need one win.
