We should have been 3/4-0 up in the first half.

The frustrating thing is, Cisse had a good game in the first half, the only thing that was **** was that he didn't score.

I predicted pretty much how this game was gonna go, but fortunately I was off on the score line... just.

    Ratings -

Elliot - 6 - Very shakey start to the game, but fortunately his mistakes didn't cost us. He did have a better second half, with a great save and some good punches and claims from corners.

Debuchy - 7 - Good performance. The only thing that pissed me off was that **** shot when we were in a good area.

MYM - 6 - Some great tackles and challenges, but some horrible play on the ball. He has the ability, but he's obviously taking his time to get used to this league.

Saylor - 6.5 - Won some aerial battles, decent performance, nothing great or bad.

Haidara - 5 - Got raped by Lukaku several times. Shakey moments. Some good work at times though.

Cabaye - 6.5 - Really good first half. Fantastic passing and some great shots. Started to lose his head late on though.

Perch - 6 - Even though he won the ball, he shouldn't have made that challenge. Good defending for the most part though. Decent midfield play.

Sissoko - 6 - Some good running, but poor decision making and passing in the 2nd half. Made a great chance with a nice touch early on in the first half. Good defensive work rate and aid.

Gouf - 6.5 - Good goal, good work rate as usual. Didn't do much for most of the match though.

Cisse - 6 - Did everything right except score.

Pardew - 5 - Got the players riled up for the match. Can't be blamed for poor finishing, but we seemed to start dropping back too much and letting WBA have it there way. Then we bring on Shola who just gave away freekicks.

He knows how to get a team up for a game, but he is the reason why we've lost so many points later in games. We have no real method on how to close a game out or a real plan B. We just lump balls to Shola, or play **** balls in Cisse's direction.

****ing hell, this is going to be squeeky bum time indeed.

Shola should not even be an option. The jobs for boys mentality must stop soon. I knew Everton would bottle it, disgusting Scouse bastards

One thing I've never understood, is why we only ever play corners or free-kicks to Williamson when he plays, yet when we need a target man, we bring on Shola?

We're desperate now, can we please f*ing show it by playing players ridiculously out of position? Let's face it, we'd all get more entertainment <wah>

I want to see people calling for Stevie Harper to come on as a striker with 30 minutes to play!!! "Local lad, he understands the passion, one of us" bla bla bla... I can see it now, as he gloriously nets a wonder-goal, having dribbled past Enrique twice, the second time just to take the piss...

We won't get anyting at West Ham they will bombard us and we will fall apart, Liverpool will win at St James QPR away we will struggle as we always do on small pitches and as for Arsenal they will win by at least 3

Fair enough we got a point but the second half performance was awful, we where average in the first and awful in the second.

Horrible game in all aspects of it. Goalkeeper's distribution horrendous, defenders error-prone, Sissoko loved running himself into walls of defenders and like Mbiwa, these 2 only play at 1 speed. They need to learn that it's not always run forward run forward run forward at breakneck pace.

Cisse with a stupid miss that he should be embarrassed of himself. Was doing good until then, 2nd half, our passing up the pitch was just atrocious. Shola heads on for Cisse, his backward pass went to a West Brom player. Similar events happened a few times.

We were lucky to escape with a point. With that said, even West Brom didn't play well and we couldn't win. Just shaking our heads all round.

Oh and wtf Pardew brings on Ben Arfa and continues lumping balls up to Shola WTF?
Ben Arfa took 5 mins to take his first touch, way to go with a trump card player.

I agree we were awful in the second. i thought we were better than average in the first half and deserved to be more than one up.

It's lile living the same god awful 90 minutes and boring deluded interviews week in week out with Pardew isn't it.

God I could actually take more pleasure during my sleep than with our performances let alone the interviews and articles in which our manager (whom I suspect carries a extra chromisome) speaks out.

Oh come on West Brom couldn't be arsed first 45 - It was only the fact they should have had a pen that spurred them on second half.

They have nowt to play for plus we can't handle Long and never have been able to - I know that but Pardew doesn't.

It was never a pen. It was a good tackle. Granted IF it had been a foul it should have been a pen, but it wasn't a pen!
