To be honest, I think a draw was probably a fair result. We bossed them in the first half and played some really nice football. Should probably have been 2 - 0 up at least. But the second half was a shambles and you have to point the finger at the manager for that. Anyone could've predicted that West Brom were going to shake things up after the break and that we didn't respond to that says more about Pardew than about the players.

Sorry but why does everyone dismiss Boa? Because he posts aggressively or has a negative attitude? We have liverpool at home next, qpr away amd arsenal at home. The only way we will not go down is out of sheer ****ing luck!

Wigan only need to win their game in hand and we'll be hanging on by the skin of our teeth.

It's all well and good being all over them in the first half, but when that HT whistle went and we were only 1 up I knew the 3 points was gone.

Wake up and smell the ****int coffee. Pardew HAS to go in the summer even if we stay up, because next year we wont be so lucky.

Thank you NUFC, thank you Pardew...you have ruined my love for football.

TBH I'm glad I didn't watch the game. The games I have seen this season haven't been good for my health with us either being **** (which pisses me off to an insane degree) or us scoring a last minute goal (to which I nearly collapse of an aneurysm due to happiness).

Also I do agree with Boa in some of the points he makes. The remaining games are going to be HARD. Pardew can't seem to rally players for a consistent second half performance unless we count lucky last minute goals. Lets just get over the line (somehow) then remove Pards quitely in the summer and bring in someone who knows how to do a job properly like this man:

Thank god all mighty someone else on here has the god damn brain capacity to perhaps boil an egg!!!

I have been trying to see some inclination from Pardew that a different approach is needed but it's not going to happen.

Watching Newcastle has NEVER been good for my health. I'm the sort that even if we're winning 4-0 I'm still ****ting myself that we need another one. The only time I'm actually calm is when we're getting slaughtered and then its just pain rather than stress! That said, I wouldn't give up watching them for the world!

Could easily see that being our final point of the season. Performances poor, manager worse. Liverpool, Arsenal and an in form West Ham to play in 3 of our final 4... Just gotta hope Wigan lose 3 of their final 5 and that we don't get too badly hammered by Livepool and/or Arsenal.

I think Pardew will take us down and even then I fear the moron keep his job.

He is worse then any other manager we have ever had and that is saying something!!!

I've made the mistake of trying to fill in the predictor pessimistically (before today) and each time I did it we finished on 37 points (which I had as a draw away to qpr) and each time 37 was enough to stay up. One thing we have in our favour is that the other team's so called easier run-ins are because they are playing each other so often. Whichever way these games go it involves rivals dropping points. I still think its Wigan or Villa decided on final day. I know i'm probably wishful thinking, but what the hell.

    our fixtures are harder

our home games are games we will lose 9 times out of ten and the away games are in London in which we will lose 99 times out of 100

Should be safe, can see the last spot being between Wigan and Villa, with them having to play each other on the last day.

On my way back from the game. Clueless at times. Pardew has a wealth of international players at his disposal and what does he do? The same crap week in week out. My patience with him has gone
Ben Arfa comes on and what do we do? Lump it forward. He needs to go in the summer. His tactics have cost us points.

I hope your right but in all honesty we are going to struggle in all our remaining games.

Couldn't disagree more. It was a timid 2nd half from a set of players lacking mental fortitude. Manager set us up well, had a game plan that clearly nullified the opposition well and then we had a set of players who quite simply didn't have the nuts to see it through. Yes the game should have been dead and buried by half time but what you don't do 2nd half is sit on the edge of your own box until the opposition score.

You don't if you have the ability of Moussa Sissoko decide to be happy to sit idly by and just not bother putting the effort in. My only criticism of Pardew is not hauling that lad off today - he was a disgrace 2nd half. Do neither Taylor or Mbiwa have a brain they can use? Does their manager have to shout the obvious to them? At this level I find it completely unacceptable to just accept players having no nuts and not a footballing brain between them to resolve what are onfield issues. You can train and prepare players correctly, condition them correctly, give them all the information possible, at some stage during games they have to take responsibility.

We didn't do that today and they ****ed me off as a set of players.
