So you're losing 3-0 at halftime. You are gunning for automatic promotion. What do you do? Bring on Jonathan Forte of course.
Hmmm, i'm sensing an enhanced deja vu there. In other news, ust seen Dean Hammond has scored an og, but Brighton 4-1 up so doesn't impact too much.
There will surely be less than three points seperating them on the last day, that game will decide it. If Stoke split them then it will be a mighty interesting game at St Mary's.
Villa could relegate Reading and QPR if they win at Man U on Monday (won't happen). Wigan looking good for the drop now. We are just about sure of QPR and Reading not catching us unless their goal difference improves dramatically.
Congratulations to Bournemouth who are all but up. If Brentford fail to win tonight they will be promoted.
Barnet 1up with a late peno save in their last game at underhill. Have a soft spot for them and hope they pull the great escape again!
I am happy that WHU beat Wigan...that is a result we needed, especially as we dropped a couple of points and other teams won.
Redknapp on MOTD - "People who say we'll come straight back up next year are talking rubbish". Wow, next year's excuses already being rolled out!
Noticed how Jonathan Legard cleverly manoeuvred Redknapp into talking about next season in the Championship, and 'Arry fell for it.
Sian Massey is trending on Twitter because she did a good job. Is that a bit sexist? Patronising? I dunno.
Perhaps, but if it opens up more opportunities for women, I can live with it. For the flip side of things, the NBA has had two female refs, one of whom didn't last long, and the other (Violet Palmer) is not very good, even by the somewhat-questionable standards of NBA referees. There'd be pushback for any other female referees breaking in as a result, sadly. And she is a genuinely good lino...she understandably ends up under the microscope, and she rarely seems to get anything major wrong. There might be others who are equally good toiling in the anonymity of their maleness, but she certainly deserves credit for getting so much right in an exceedingly difficult environment.
