Hatem Ben Arfa's creativity

Just watching this video, you can see the difference in our play when he's at his best.

The balls he puts into the box sometimes are inch perfect onto players heads. I remember the Swansea game shown in this vid. Really can't believe we lost that game with the chances Ben Arfa created.

We have badly missed his class this season.

No excuses re injuries, but in terms of impact it's the same as Spurs without Bale, Liverpool without Gerrard, Manure without Rooney, City without Silva, etc. not making any player-to-player comparisons, but I mean that Benni is our game changer. The guy with the quality and class to make something from nothing that turns the tide in a match. We have missed that ability for so much of the season.

 

Is one whole season really too much to ask Benni? I really do wonder what we would be capable of if we could just keep a squad fit!

 

Top 6 based on what happened last year.

 

Are squad should be pushing near the top 8, but we need a change in management desperately. A group of good players can only win a certain amount of games, they need tactics and organisation to push them up top.

 

We always miss him, he is top class. Looked to be carrying a fair of beef last week but he will always be like that (not the best trainer by all accounts). Once we get his conditioning right he is a different class. Very injury prone though.

 

Lack of Training/conditioning and being prone to injuries probably go hand-in-hand.
Just imagine how good he'd be - and how many games he could actually play - if he worked harder in training.
